If you take the 76 you know there can be long streches with no exits for a long time . It was late at night and i was unable to start searching for a place online . My wife who was 100 miles away checked on the Mariott app for the next city and found the fairfield inn in Bedford Pa . The lady on the phone could not have been nicer guiding my wife on everything we need to do and how to book the room on the app so we can use our Bonvoy points . Place was super clean and beds were very comfortable . We even got our to go breakfast ready for us in the morning 5 stars on everything !!!!
We stayed for a quick 12-hours en-route on a road trip from Chicago to Philly. We arrived after midnight, and the front desk staff was amazing. She was super friendly and very helpful. While the hotel did NOT offer hot breakfast due to COVID-19, they took our breakfast order (choice of pre-packaged breakfast sandwich, yogurt, granola bar, orange juice) and had it ready to go in a neatly labeled bag in the morning for contact-free pick up. There was a microwave in the room to warm up the sandwiches, as well as a mini-fridge. The lobby and elevator were clean and bright. The room was very comfortable and above-average based on other Fairfield Inns we have recently stayed at. Overall, a very pleasant experience!
I have stayed at small independent places that are way more cleaner than this place. I was shocked at my stay at your hotel this weekend which I was anticipating to be a pleasant visit to Bedford. I normally don’t need to complain as I know things happen but this was not acceptable. I dropped my belongings off at check in and arrived back in the evening to sleep. The next morning when using the bathroom I noticed so many issues. If I saw this earlier I would have notified to change my room. This bathroom was short cut cleaned and barely anything wiped by a housekeeper. Doesn’t look like the rooms are inspected for housekeeping quality control. Toilet had mold ring so not been scrubbed in a while. All chrome is dirty and water soap scum all over the tiles. There are so many failures here on cleanliness. Also the large crack in the shower tub wall. This room should not be rented with that large crack. Yes, we have excuses with covid causing problems but no one should be rented a room like this, especially by a Marriott product. No one from hotel has reached out. And all the covid precautions signs are non-sense when it comes to cleanness and safety here.…
Went to Bedford for our dream wedding. Had alot of guests book rooms to attend it. Thought the people running were good people until we got home from our honeymoon and found our credit card was billed for an extra room that one of our guest paid cash for on entering. We figured, since the people were so kind to our needs while there, they would help us out. Shocker!!! Come to find they will not help us, they will not reimburse,basically calling us liars. For shame! We loved this hotel for on going stays in Bedford. Well, no longer doing business with these people. If you don't want ripped off, don't stay here.
I was a guest at this hotel in September 2020 with my bride to be and my wedding party. Multiple rooms for this weekend. One of my guests gave the desk clerk (Rebecca) cash at the time of check-in. She inturn did give my guest change back.to satisfy the amount of the room that she verbally stated. Another guest of mine witnessed this transaction as did myself. Upon receiving the bills for the rooms I paid for this weekend, another charge was placed on my credit card for the room that was paid for in advance in cash. When I contacted the General Manager (Brandy) of this improper charge to my credit card. The repeated response I received only was "Our hotel policy is that everyone must check in with a credit card and photo ID and under no circumstance, we accept cash at check-in". This is untrue. The desk clerk did take my guests' cash. So I ask what happened to the cash my guest gave the desk clerk? Since it was my wedding weekend a number of my guests stayed at this hotel, one would assume the general manager would make it right? The refund I requested was only $107. I had requested this correction numerous times and was denied each time. So, my advice is, if you choose to stay at this hotel, "DO NOT USE CASH FOR ANYTHING!" The hotel management can not be trusted!!!!!!…
