Two of us needed a room for a night recently while backpacking on the Appalachian Trail through PA. Because of a car show in Carlisle all the local hotels were full. Thankfully we stumbled onto this B n B. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom was large with nice towels, and breakfast was incredible. It is true that the home...

We stayed for a week in the Manor Room. Mrs. G is a wonderful innkeeper, welcoming and charming and fun to chat with over that last cup of coffee. She is knowledgeable about attractions in the area and was kind enough to provide insights so we could make the most of our limited time. Her breakfasts are absolutely marvelous! Not...

I stayed here a couple weeks back while at the Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle. Really like that they are short/easy walk to the Boiling Springs Tavern. When staying at a B&B you are pretty much in someone's home, and you need to behave differently than in a hotel. That is especially true here. Mrs. G (or "Kitty" as she is...

My husband and I stayed in the Victorian room overnight, while in town for the Carlisle Spring Swap Meet & Auction. Our host was gracious and the breakfast was tasty and well balanced. The room met our needs and was dust-free (even with all the decorations). The mattress was soft / worn, yet we still slept well. The coffee bar...

We had a nice experience at this B&B. Mrs. G was very kind and serves a wonderful breakfast. Any negative reviews are most likely from people who don't understand how a B&B works. The house is very old and decorated Victorian, but we liked it and loved learning about it from the owner. I would have liked a bigger, less...

I have been fortunate enough to be spared a stay at this manor. We booked a stay here through their website, and due to inclement weather, etc, had to cancel the reservation. Attempts were made for several days, by calling the number on their site, (in the afternoon), and no one responded. No voicemail either. Attempted to e-mail, to which...

This is a nicely located B&B in the center of Boiling Springs and across from the Children's Lake. Kitty, the energetic owner is a seasoned B&B owner: the breakfasts served promptly at 8:30 AM were delicious, my bed was comfortable, there were plenty of amenities, including a bathrobe which came in handy as my room's bathroom was around the corner,...

I had the displeasure of staying at this Bed and Breakfast. I had a reservation for two nights. I had an emergency where I could only stay one night. I explained the situation to the owner, the mother, that I would have to leave first thing in the morning due to an unexpected emergency. I was told there would be...

Location is romantic, several good places for dinner ranging from pizza to fine dining. Due to prior plans we were not able to stay for a luscious filling breakfast which was served @ 8:30. We did have breakfast down at the corner which was fine and very good. With prior notice, this could have been different. Due call ahead prior...

we planned a last minute getaway for an early birthday present. I booked online and also had some roses awaiting us when we got into the room. the room was clean, roomy and we had a private bathroom which was very nice. The only downside to the whole trip was a slow drain in the shower. The breakfast offered by...

“Do not choose a room here at all! I did take some REAL photos to show those that I know that stay at B&B's to make sure this is not on their list. I will also be contacting all Professional Organizations that they have listed so that there is an inspection there as to the safety of the place.”
