We spent a 3 day weekend to get away and have some fun. The skiing was good and the tube slope was so so. Hidden Valley tube slope was better. Our room was in need of an update. The resort offered bowling and mini golf along with small shops. Covid put a damper on most indoor activities. The staff was friendly and willing to do anything to make your stay go well. I can only give it 3 stars for the price that was paid. Hopefully Seven Springs will update their hotel accomodations in the near future.
We enjoyed the sporting clays and hot tub. The restaurants are nice. We did not ski this trip but plan to come back with the kids and do that. And we may also return in the summer to kayak, bike and ride the horses.
Everything was amazing. Eric and Andy in events services made this a seamless transition and a joy to plan and execute. Events planned with the cabin rented made for a great time for the senior executive and provided a great environment for team building at the Fin 'n Feather Cabin.
The staff, facilities and dinner experience were all top notch. The only limitation was, as a disabled individual (bad knees requiring use of a cane) I found the disabled parking at the hotel to be a very long trip from the entrance. Second, going from the hotel to the Main Lobby to be near impossible. Add the distance to the Mayberry Room room was impossible. There should be some type of shuttle or closer parking to the hotel to allow driving to various locations without a grueling hike.
Went for three days of relaxation and spa treatments. Spa was great. Staff was great. But hotel room was mediocre and poorly appointed. Hotel rooms have no microwave and no coffee makers, but they charge a rate that is representative of hotel rooms that offer so much more. Our room was in the tower and the "hike" from the room to the lodge and shops was considerable and got old real fast. The overall design and layout of the hotel is poor if you opt for a higher quality (sic more expensive) room category. We made the mistake of not looking closely at the schedules for the stores and activities. Most of everything is closed during the week and only opened up on the weekend. They also did not offer bellman service so we had to haul our luggage to the room ourselves. Very poor decision on the part of management. As a ski lodge it is acceptable but as a vacation destination and year-round resort it is poor.…
