Looks like a crack house. Smells like one, too. If we had not been exhausted from driving into the night, we would have moved on. This place is dangerous. DO NOT STAY HERE. Filthy, loud, the toilet didn't work, the bedcovers had cigarette burns through them, the furniture was broken, the flooring was peeling up and stuck to your feet, the stench was horrible, the traffic from the Interstate was LOUD. There is nothing good I can say about this place. It should be condemned and torn down. STAY AWAY!!!!

Once you arrive in Clark’s Summit, the Econo Lodge stands up. You pull into the Econo Lodge and you see all of the parking spaces. The employees bring the good out of people. The employees makes your check in and check out so easily. The walk to your room is so quick and easy. The elevator bring you up so quickly. The hall walls is spotless. The room is the finest hotel room I have ever seen. You can see all the effort the employees put into cleaning it. The room looks like it is a hotel room 100 years in the future. The best hotel in the world!

So overpriced for such a dump!! This place is old & dilapidated. Parking is awful, outside entrances to rooms looks like a back alley, rotted wood all around door frames, musty smell, just about everything was stained, walls, drapes, the one chair in the room was filthy, sheets were dingy, pillowcases were stained with looked like make up. The bed… ugh, was low to the floor and hard as a rock, if it wasn’t so late in the evening would have gone somewhere else, breakfast, skip it, just a small counter inside the tiny lobby where u check in. Definitely don’t book here!!!

Arrived late in the evening needing a cheap stay for a few hours sleep while travelling south. Should have just slept in the car. This place was nasty. Cobwebs, mould, destroyed furnishings, soiled and burned bedding, unhelpful staff, unavailable management…sheets were somewhat clean. No breakfast or wifi despite what their website states. Pay the extra $10 and stay somewhere respectable. Front desk person showed me a list of other complaints from the nights’ stay from other guests. Lesson learned. Would give zero stars if I could.

Booked for 5 days. Very disappointed with this place. To some folks the rate is cheapest around but for me it's still expensive and all for nothing. First of all the first, the first day there we tried to use the microwave and it didn't work. Reported it the next morning and had to report it twice before anyone finally showed up to look at the microwave. They finally got it fixed and all was good. Later was going to use the little coffee pot to make some hot water for tea, discovered it too didn't work, didn't bother to report it, just used the microwave instead. The other thing is.....no cafeteria, no breakfast of any kind, no vending machines, however all they do offer in the lobby is coffee & tea....when there is sugar and cream available. As for the room, OUTDATED and musty. Bedding is old, dingy and stained, pillows are all so flat and worn out. Now for the staff, they are all pretty friendly but the older guy, it's no wonder nothing really improved around the place, Everytime ya see him he is texting constantly. Yeah the place is budget friendly for most but these folks need to spend money to make money. The place really needs alot of updating. I personally don't see that happening anytime soon. They have alot of nerve charging these prices. My personal opinion is......GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE YOU'LL PAY.

This place looks like it was built in the 1950's and hadn't been cleaned or updated since. Burn holes on sheets and burns on plastic toilot seat. Door lacks standard security locks/devices. Light from inside the room shines through the door frame to the exterior of room. Trash in dumpsters were over-flowing. Was not even a value for $60. It was dry and warm, but not much else

The entire facility, though old, was impeccably clean, My air conditioner (if any) did not work. Nor was there any plastic or paper cup, making pill-taking difficult. There was a burn hole in the bedspread, and the water in the shower did not drain away. Pleasant staff.

Dirty, stinks, beyond run down. Dropped a friend off there and was aghast: visibly dirty floors, filthy bathroom, broken toilet seat repaired with masking tape, broken mini fridge, burned out outlets, broken lights, stained sheets with cigarette holes, stink. Unbelievable and outrageous. Does Econolodge actually visit locations before they put their name on something?

Pulling up to this hotel, it was a little creepy. The exterior is run down appearing. It was late and after driving 7 hours it was too late to find another place. I had reserved a smoking room but the man at the counter said he didn't have any. He gave us a room and said if I left the bathroom fan on, I could smoke in it. So I did. The blankets and sheets were old and had cigarette burn holes. Bathroom was clean, modern though toilet seat was broken. The rest of the room was tired looking; the whole thing creeped me out. I got the impression some people lived there. Anyway I won't try saving money again in the future - I'll pay $30 more and get a room in a comfortable hotel. I was relieved to see my car was still there in the parking lot in the morning.

My wife and I visit from out of state every year for two weeks to visit family and friends. Unfortunately we were unable to stay with our friends this time. Don’t get me wrong, it’s ok for an overnight visit, for a younger couple with good backs, if you just want to get out of the weather. We booked a room with a king “v” bed. Yes, you read that right. The sides were much higher than the middle. Getting out of bed in the morning was a timely process. The showers were very small. Washing the lower extremities was accomplished by protruding outside the shower curtain. Also wish the towels were a touch softer and a little larger than loin clothes. Might be ok for drying your car, if you plan on waxing, cause your going to have scratches. Parking was not that great either. Limited parking with no painted lines which resulted in people taking up multiple spaces. As often as we travel we typically choose Econ Lodges for the value. Next year we hope to be able to stay with our friends. If not we will look for a different place. The money we saved on lodging will most likely be going to a chiropractor when we get home.
