As mentioned in other reviews, this is a great stop when bicycling the GAP trail. Our bikes were locked in the garage, access from the trail was easy. Unlike many of the other reviews, we didn't see our host until breakfast, and probably didn't experience any of those special touches mentioned in some reviews, but no complaints so I'll still...

We stayed at the Confluence House B&B the 2nd night of our GAP trail ride. The owner is very accommodating to bikers (including those covered in mud from riding in the rain for 2 days). She offered outdoor hose to clean off our bikes, also had a garage available for their storage. We had a lovely room with private bath....

We were two couples traveling on the GAP trail from Pittsburgh to Shepherdstown. Confluence was the second night of the trip. We booked too late to get a room with a private bath, but our two rooms were the only ones using the shared bath. We were in the Monogahela Room, which was a good size and very comfortable. Our...

My husband and I stayed at the Confluence House for three nights while visiting family for a 4th of July picnic and we had a lovely experience. We did not know what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised! We stayed in one of the second floor rooms with a private bath and a queen bed. The room was very...

I spent two nights at the Confluence house during my bike tour of the Great Allegheny Passage. The room, the meals, the location and the owner, Sandy, made this stay feel like I was in my own home. I have no hesitation when I give the Confluence House my highest recommendation and add that you may find a place as...

I was a guest June 24 & 25 in the Laurel Hill Room, after spending the previous 2 nights in a tent in a campground. The Laurel Hill room was a godsend for me, after pedaling 128 miles of the 2014 Greenway Sojourn. Everything was perfect about my stay there. The room had air conditioning available, but I preferred to...

We had higher expectations from this B&B. The house itself was very nice inside with beautiful woodwork. Our room, however, was smaller than expected and lacked places where we could put our things. The bed was not particularly comfortable, either. But it was very clean and well-kept. As we experienced with the B&B in Connellsville, though, earplugs on the nightstand...

We appreciate guests taking time to write a review of our accommodations. Not everyone has the same opinion and that's to be expected. However, when leaving a review you should be honest and not leave an ambiguous report. This couple stayed with us in our most popular queen room. As with this couple, the majority of those are bicyclists traveling...

This very comfortable B&B is just a short flat ride from the trail into the town of Confluence. It is a clean attractive home with a lovely backyard with a picnic table - a great place to relax after a day's cycling. As we entered the house, we were greeted by a lovely sign "Lemon Pound Cake" which the owner...

Thank you for the lovely review of our B&B. Yes, some of the pictures are different. This winter we had major water damage to the first floor from a busted pipe. Our main priority was opening for business. We do intent to update photos as soon as possible. Please come back and stay with us again when visiting the Laurel...

Agree with all the positive comments here. Just appreciate this isn't the Ritz, nor is this town the quaintest place in the world. It is what it is. It's a good spot to rest after the a day's ride from Pittsburgh. In fact, it's just about the only place it seemed. In the off-season (mid September) it gets VERY quiet,...

Stopped here during the Pumpkin festival on parade day, the inn on the outside is very warm and inviting and the were offering a wine tasting with extended hours on a chalkboard sign in front on the sidewalk, The bar is outside in a converted garage, which is a lot cuter than it sounds and they have patio tables and...

Slightly perplexed by this review. Pumpkinfest is our annual festival lasting three days the first weekend in October. We offer a wine tasting bar and sales as part of our services for this event. As hundreds of people pass through our town and visit the various venues it does get a bit hectic. I personally worked the festival weekend which...
