My review of this place is based how old it is and all of the history associated with it. They have made upgrades, but have kept that old school look and feel. So I am not comparing it to the Holiday Inn...

The hotel is clearly older. We had our 2 kids with us. We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel as we were visiting family. I booked the wrong dates - they still gave us a room and let me cancel the wrong...More

Hello! I did not see any bugs. The rooms are very old, but pretty clean. I've never had a problem with the beds, we've always found them comfortable. My advice though is that some of the rooms have a shower stall and some have clawfoot tubs. You have to request which you'd rather have. Also, not all of the rooms have cable TV. If you want that, you have to request it.
