We attended a New Years Eve party at the Pine Barn Inn and spent the night. What a beautiful and unique place! Our room was spotless, larger than expected and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. If the food at the party is an example of their meals, their meals must be outstanding. We will have to go back...

Thank you for joining us on New Year's Eve, and for your wonderful review. It is always nice to hear from someone who has not had a chance to visit the Pine Barn in the past. We believe we offer something unique to the traveling public; a clean, comfortable inn, excellent food, and a great facility. Too often we overlook...

This review is for event booking and execution, not the hotel. I booked my sister's bridal shower here. The event planners (Jackie and Joanne) were professional and patient with all of my questions and weird last-minute changes. They went over the schedule, menu, decor, and policies with me, and were present to answer any questions when we came to check...

Thank you Megan for your review; your comments are greatly appreciated. My only comment to your tips is that there is a coat room in the entrance to the Tavern, which is the door next to the Montour Room. Thank you again for choosing the Pine Barn Inn for your event.

The Pine Barn Inn is conveniently located at the base of the Geisinger "Big House" and just a short drive downtown. I have been here >10 times and the experience is consistently good. The restaurant is very good too.

The hotel is comfortable and a reasonable value. Friendly staff, and a nice on-site restaurant, too. (Try their "Faith Salad" -- with raisins and feta cheese -- a bit unique and quite tasty.) Oh -- and also, the floor we stayed on had a coffee station on it, with a basket of fruit. A nice touch.

I stayed here for a wedding the last weekend in November and was pleasantly surprised by how clean, nice and updated the rooms are. I typically only stay in chain hotels but the wedding reception was being held here so everyone also stayed on property. When I arrived to check in there was no one at the desk and I...

Thank you, Kristin S, for your very nice review. We appreciate your taking the time to write your very comprehensive review. Reviews from guests who usually stay at the chain properties but enjoyed their time at the Pine Barn Inn are amongst our favorites. As a place that started as a pine barn, the Pine Barn Inn has come a long way. It was once a stable, then during WWII is was a home that was allegedly the first all-electric home in Pennsylvania. It is now a simple but up to date and comfortable hotel of about 100 rooms that is owned and operated...

Thank you for your review. Please email me with the name of your waitress - I want her to pay for that English muffin!! Just kidding of course. Spent a night at the Pine Barn Inn and it was decent and convenient to Geisinger Medical Center. The room (235) was adequate and quiet with all of the amenities in good working order. The heating / cooling unit was quiet, the shower temperature was great and the pressure was wonderful. Sometimes motel style places (door opens to the outside...

We have outside rooms for those who like to walk directly out to their car, as well as rooms that open to a central hallway. As so many of our comments have pointed out,...

The Pine Barn Inn is the handiest lodging to Danville proper, and I remember eating Sunday dinners there with my parents in the 50's. The room was clean and inviting, everything you'd expect. I was a little disappointed to find that breakfast was not included in the room price, something that's common at this price point. That said, the restaurant...

If you aren't staying here for Geisinger Medical Center, you aren't staying here. It's super convenient to the medical center, but there's nothing else to do nearby. A nice little hotel in Danville. Very clean, and a courteous staff. The beds were very comfortable and the room clean and pleasant. Nice location right in the town - but still had a "country comfort" vibe. A very nice stay.
