The rooms have recently been updated and are very clean and comfortable. The grounds are clean (I was traveling with a dog). There is ample parking and the parking area is fairly well lit. The area felt safe to me, I wasn't worried while out with my dog after dark. The rooms are surprisingly very quiet, I never even heard a neighbor's toilet flush or shower. BUT -- there is a $15 per day pet fee, despite the fact that they only come in the rooms every 3 days to clean. That "per day" part of the pet fee was not clear when I checked in and there is no negotiating it. Just pointing that out so others aren't caught by surprise.

I have been coming to the hotel for about 20 years when I am in the area for a local dog show. It has always been wonderful. I made my reservation well in advance, only to get there and find out there were no ground floor rooms. I cannot do stairs. I had on my reservation MUST have a ground floor. Another lady was checking in at the same time, also requested a ground floor room. We were told that a party had checked in for five days. They did find a room for me on the ground floor, but the other lady had to go upstairs. Breakfast is no long available. Glad I brought juice to take my meds with. There was some kind of gathering with cooking out. There were bones and garbage all over. It made it very difficult to walk my dogs in and out of the hotel with all the garbage. The room was wonderful. I had booked with reward points but they did not get used. Need to check on that. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was. After about 20 years of staying there multiple times a year, this is the worse. It seems to be going down. Rooms have been renovated nicely but the service was horrible. I might try it once more but be aware they might not honor a reservation.

Hotel rooms have been updated since our last stay 2 years ago. Very clean and comfortable. We didn't eat the breakfast so I can't comment on that. The exterior stills needs updating but the most important feature, the rooms, was acceptable.

The bathroom wasn't clean, the bed hadn't been changed unfortunately for me I didn't find that out until the morning. Someone else's socks were in the bed under the blankets and top sheet. Freaked me out. Staff wasn't concerned or even apologetic about it. Air conditioning unit woke us up constantly (loud) Don't stay here!

This property is being renovated/managed by Wyndham. So I was hopeful that it would be OK for a 4 night stay. This property is located close to my family's location making it convenient for us.
The desk clerk, KP (I believe) was friendly and thanked us for choosing the property. There were no hiccups. There isn't anything remarkable about the property.
The hallways had a strong odor of smoke, but humid conditions and smoking rooms may contribute to the lingering odors.
Our room was clean, had a fridge and small microwave. Water pressure was good. :)

It says free wifi which is good. But, when you try to connect to it with the correct password it won't work. And when my devices actually connect to the internet I have very poor signal. It constantly kicks me off the internet or doesn't connect at all. It is very frustrating to do anything that requires internet.

Room was fine. Breakfast options were skimpy. Drinks were awful. The hotel is convenient so it is what it is. Not overpriced. It would have been nice to have good coffee,clean juice, a wrapped pastry or some fruit. The cereal was fine. My lady doesn’t eat cereal. Just don’t call it breakfast.

but the rooms are GREAT. this is a renovation that is actually going to make the place so nice compared to what a typical motel/hotel is like. truly, i was so taken back when i opened the door to the room and saw how nice it was. the outside is construction zone, but the inside is great.

I got off the beaten path (actually off the PA Turnpike, which was closed for 86 miles due to an accident) and stumbled into Delmont. Grabbed a room at this Super 8 because it was quick and convenient. I was very pleasantly surprised - hadn't tried a Super 8 for probably 30 years. This one was great - very spacious room which looked to be newly renovated. Owner was very pleasant and courteous. Very reasonably priced. Overall experience was GREAT! I would highly recommend!!

1. Advertises breakfast included. I was able to get a cup of coffee. Waffle maker was the only other offering.
2. Side doors unlocked 24/7. No security. Shady types in the parking lot lighting up things that weren’t cigarettes.
3. Staff not conversant in English.
4. TV did not work bringing in channel options. Guests told it was a satellite problem.
5. The one positive was that the room was fine. Not a good enough reason to stay there again.
