We came in from NYC Saturday - Monday morning. Camp staff were very friendly and the campground was very clean. We stayed on the river front which has great views. Will definitely be going back. Went inspite of all the negative reviews and had a great time. Never ran into park rangers or had any incidents and the other campers...

My group of friends and I have been camping for at least 15 years together. We only consider rustic campsites on the water that allow dogs. We always bring our children. This was the perfect campsite until we met the nasty rangers. The woman ranger tried to say we were being loud and that was her reason for stopping, though...

This is the most convenient (might be the only) campground for kayaking the Delaware Water Gap. Our campsite was next to the boat launch in order to facilitate our paddle. Unfortunately, Dingman's is in serious need of an upgrade for this location. The bath house/restroom was so far away that we had to drive to take our showers. There were...

We just returned from a 3-day Labor Day weekend camping experience at Dingman's, & we had a really nice stay here. Overall, the campground is in a beautiful location in the Delaware Water Gap area. It's easy to find, and we found the staff to be helpful and courteous. The property is well-maintained. Some tips/ideas/thoughts for future travelers: - Stay...

Do not use this kayaking outfit. Their equipment is the cheapest quality making for an uncomfortable paddle. More importantly, their exit location is extremely shallow and rocky. We had to carry our kayaks over 100 yards across a very shallow rocky distance that was extremely slippery. The Delaware is a beautiful paddle but I recommend using another outfitter.

I absolutely hated this campground, so I'm giving it 1 star. I realize though that other people may have a different idea of what "camping" is to them and so they might think this place is fine. I'll just explain my experience and others can decide for themselves what kind of camping experience they're in to. Basically, if you're looking...

Unfortunately, the recent reviews about being raided and treated rudely by the rangers are correct. Our group of four 35-40 y.o.'s was also abruptly searched and ticketed ($75) for being in possession of 4 bottles of beer as we sat quietly around the campfire at 11 pm. This was my 3rd time camping at Dingman's in the last few years,...

Very unpleasant experiences here. It's dried campsite, which I wasn't informed. Ranger that night issued me $75 ticket because I was holding Coors Light on my hand. Ranger was very vicious, unfriendly, no respect to visitors. Around 4 am in the morning, a guy who was camping in front of our campsite threw up heavily and I woke up because...

It's not the worst, but it's certainly not the best. We chose it because it was close to home for us (about and hour and 20 min) and it was perfect for us to get to Friday after work and fall off the grid for the weekend (there is zero cell service). We loved that they were pet friendly. Alcohol...

We had visited this campground and found it to be the worst experience ever.. To start there was only one shower.. the bathrooms were disgusting with toilets backed up and the smell of urine wasnt good.. We asked for direction to a local water fall and got sent on a 15mile hike to nowhere.. They said it was a dry...

“If camping with a camper, do not take site 11 near the North restrooms. You will have people traipsing through your camp site at all hours.”

“Do not bother with one of the coveted lake sites. The sites nearer the entrance and bathrooms are well-maintained and quiet.”

“I wouldn't waste the money for a river site again. The portopotties are scary, the massive groups are very loud, and you can barely see the river. Of all the sites we explored site 111 was the nicest I think my friends said. But if it was me, I would skip the place altogether.”
