Nice, clean place. Nothing fancy. Good HD TV. Breakfast was only fair. Our room was a king bed and very large, possibly because it was on the end. It was nearly empty when we stayed so it was quiet. Good location to visit Fallingwater about 30 minutes away.
Needs serious updating. The room had a dank smell, the room and bathroom needed painting along with a deep clean, just not worth the money at all. Stay someplace else if you have the option, Unfortunately not a lot of options in August. It is relatively close to Falling Water, the Frank Lloyd Wright designed hose, which is why we stayed there.
Located in the very quant foot hills of Donegal. Though it is just off the turn pike it is a very quite, clean, and sits back on a very beautiful piece property with a manicured fields for walking and enjoying nature. The location is great for visiting the surrounding areas. The staff, cleaning, and even grounds maintenance personnel are all very polite.
Pool ran down. Phones was not working. Room just felt ran down. A/c way to close to the bed. The pool gate was locked abd took at least 25 minutes for maintenance to come and open the gate. The breakfast was average
Excellent room! Big room with big comfortable beds. Has microwave and fridge. Slept well..This is a motel which I liked because could park right outside. Gas station and McDonalds next store. Dairy Queen down the street. Got a good price with my AAA membership.
I was on a road trip and just looking for a Wyndam hotel for an overnight. Location was convenient. Room did the job. Overall the facilites seemed a little rough, but I wasn't expecting a resort and my room was OK. Not a lot of food choices nearby. A gas station and a Dairy Queen if you want something quick. The Tall Cedars restaurant acroos the road turned out to be pretty good.
For anyone visiting this area of W PA, lodging options are few: pricey mountain resorts, a Holiday Inn Express, and this Days Inn, which we chose based on price and the largely positive traveler reviews. Our room was relatively free from outside noise and very clean; when we requested fresh towels on the second day, our room was completely cleaned again. Some negatives: dated décor; musty smell; and an AC unit with a large repertory of weird noises. The main complaint is that the website prominently features a modern two-story building; only if you happen to use a magnifying glass on the upper right of the picture can you discover that the place is pretty much entirely a 50’s-60’s motor inn, with rooms opening directly to the outside and cars parked out front. Ultimately it made little difference to our experience, but it came as a shock upon arrival. Despite the presence of several tourist attraction in the area (e.g., Wright houses), travelers should be warned that restaurant options (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are severely limited in a 20-mile radius of Donegal: almost no restaurants open on Mondays and Tuesdays and few on Wednesdays. …
One night stay due to proximity to main conference location hotel. Comfortable bed, great internet and loved the walk in shower. Easy access to major roadways as needed. Restaurants, dollar stores and beer distributors close also.
The Heaters didn't work well, and the shower was cold or scalding hot. The temperature control was broken. Pool wasn't open. No breakfast still sadly. Just a like doggy bag with a muffin. That was a bummer.
Very hard to understand the staff behind the desk. No Continental breakfast as website states. Room was clean but 2nd day no new linens. Ohioplye is a great place to visit. Tried to book tickets for Falling Waters but was booked.
