I have been to Yellow House many times and have always, been impressed with the food and the service.. However last Friday night our group of five arrived there at 6:45, fifteen minutes before our reservation. The soup was delicious but didn't arrive for about half an hour. The salads arrived about an hour later and our entrees arrived shortly after...

One of the retired employees who worked at the company I worked at for over 20 years, organized a lunch for a group of retired and departed employees, last week. There were 16 of us, and everything went off without a hitch. We had over an hour of socializing, and no one had to wait for a drink. After we...

The Yellow House never disappoints me. Great food and wonderful ambience. Serbers are always pleasant. I also like happy hour in the bar..it's almost like a mini Cheers...and really good bar menu as well as great drinks.

Yes, you know it's a hunted hotel, and yes, the people at hotel will introduce the special thing about their history.. I love the original / historical feeling about the hotel regardless it's hunted or not. Did I see her? no.. Did I feel her.. maybe.. If you have the chance need to stay in this area, this would be...

My wife and I stayed here a couple nights since it was close to our family we were visiting. Very nice d historic building. Like a bed and breakfast without the breakfast. Room was nice and clean and staff were helpful and friendly. Only bad part was the bed in the room we stayed in wasn't comfortable

We stayed here one night after visiting friends in the area. It was convenient and a good value for the evening. And loving old houses we got a kick out of staying here. Comfortable beds and coffee and English muffins in the morning. We couldn't ask for more. Ask for a room in the back of early pruning sun or...

....on the road through Pennsylvania doesn't come much more homely than this. I had stayed before, so I had expectations, but after a long drive through New England to get here was a relief in itself. My large, clean and well-appointed bedroom was just right for a good nights sleep. Dinner, in the quieter of the two dining rooms -...

We reserved for dinner, 4 pax. Only tables available were small tables next to the bar, otherwise, the restaurant was totally empty. The barmaid was extremely rude, the food barely acceptable. No visitors were staying in the hotel room, it was like a ghost town kind of place. We had the intention of ordering the lamb and duck breast which...

We've been staying at Yellow House for many, many years - including our wedding night 28 years ago!. The place really has not changed over the years, even with the area around it growing rapidly. Even the cost of staying is a bargain compared to other B&Bs or hotels. The rooms are comfortable, with all the basics you would find...

I say this with full knowledge that it could have just been the room we picked. We wanted a back room to insure we didn't hear street traffic in the AM. The room was a great size with plenty of draw space, the bed was an old-fashioned high bed of amble size, the TV worked well but is placed on...

“Plenty of rooms available, especially if you like loud banging radiator pipes all night.”

“My only recommendation during the work week is to try and get a room in the back (C or D) if you are a light sleeper. Because the area is growing, the traffic has picked up and you'll likely hear trucks on the road early in the morning. Not a problem on the weekend, but Monday - Friday it can get busy.”
