Be prepared to arrive before 5 PM or be confused about check-in. Be prepared for no toiletries provided, like shampoo, lotion, dish soap at the sink, for bath soap smaller than the size of my thumb, and a list of prices given by the resort to buy other essentials like soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. after their starter set is used up. Be prepared to drive to your unit on a fully potholed road, parking on a cracked, broken driveway and a TV with audio and no picture to go with it, unless you watch the good TV's in the bedrooms by sitting in your bed to watch TV. Bring your own boats or be prepared for no rentals of kayaks after Labor Day with no advance notice. No information sheet in packet informing about activities for the week, evidently no activities, and no hours for restaurants at the resort and which were open for the week. Be prepared for poorly staffed restaurants at the resort or you might be waiting for over an hour for your food after ordering, like we had to. Be prepared to drive more than 7 miles from your unit to the exit of the resort if you want to eat anywhere else, but add another 4-5 miles to get there. Be prepared for poor internet service and for a nonworking unit phone. Attractive resort grounds, but a long drive from your unit to the lake activities or anything else. Great place if you play golf, enjoy watching golfers outside your window, or enjoy watching deer, not much else. Since we are not golfers and much else closed down at the resort the day after Labor Day, two days after our arrival, we had to travel far and look outside of the resort to find things to do. We would have been better off staying at a hotel outside of the resort with better amenities.

We were pleasantly surprised Wolf Run had an opening prior to labor Day. As like so many we needed to get out of the house and view some different scenery and had never been to Pennsylvania. I'm glad we did.

Sadly, the resort appeared to have been neglected for several years. We had a two bedroom with a full kitchen. The kitchen was supplied with glasses, pots and pans, and silverware. The unit was clean, but again was just a bit run-down. We did have free wi-fi which the teenagers were grateful. Our view from the room was pleasant and we enjoyed the DJ Saturday night!

We love the area. It was beautiful. Some attractions we visited were the home of Punxsatawney Phil, a nearby Elk viewing site, and hiking trails. Prior to arriving to the resort we had a delicious taco salad at the duBois Diner. I would encourage anyone thinking about visiting to go! If you like the outdoors you'll love Wolf Run.

We have visited this resort several times. We enjoy using the pool which is located at Silverwoods, and seeing the wildlife. It is a great place to see the elk that live nearby. The unit was clean. BUT be aware! Check in is at the security office. Security will open a box that contains envelopes with keys and paperwork. If there is no envelope with your name on it, you will need to call a phone number. They will tell you that you need to pay a housekeeping fee before you can get your keys. After paying the fee, you will find your keys in an envelope with someone else's name on it. This is not the way to get people to pay this fee. We have enjoyed the resort and were very disappointed at the underhanded way they are doing this.

Units are spacious for the families. Pool was clean and fun for the kids. The staff were extremely helpful with getting 3 units next to each other and providing local information prior to our stay. Our boys enjoyed the 18 holes at the Silver golf course.

Don't expect a renovated room as we were put in probably the worst unit of the resort when other rooms were available. Did get to change to a renovated room after speaking with staff and lost a day due to repacking and unpacking If you like the outdoors the decks are filthy as well as outdoor table and chairs. Phones didn't work, no cell service and tv system needs help. Front desk is 7 miles from the resort to even talk to somebody.
The resort is in a gated community and beautiful location but the resort leaves a lot to be desired,
Left early as very unhappy with overall experience at the resort.

Comfortable accommodations and lots to do in the area if you do your research. Golfing looks like it would be great ! Outside of the buildings are a little tired and need some attention. A good power washing and some roof replacement would make a big difference. The insides are very nice !

Units have some updates since out last stay a decade ago. Our only problem was that there were no batteries in the smoke detectors. That’s a huge no no. The beds are very old spring mattresses that need replaced. WiFi is not strong, but good enough to stream TV shows or movies. It was very clean and very cozy. We spent most of our time up north hiking in elk country. It was a quiet and peaceful getaway which is what we needed.

Overall the location is exceptional and probably a great place to stay during the summer when the beaches and facilities are open more often. The room facilities are dated, but overall clean. The living room fireplace required fire logs, The surrounding private residences were very nice and made for nice site-seeing. There was BIG cable TV issues the entire stay - VERY bad situation that needs to get fixed. .

We chose Silverwoods at Treasure Lake because of close proximity to our home, and we wanted a short family getaway. We also went with low expectations, based on previous reviews. Silverwoods at Treasure Lake exceeded our expectations because it provided just what we needed, a no-frills atmosphere where we could reconnect with our family and get out of town for a few days. Though slightly outdated and a little run down, the furnishings were adequate. Appliances worked and kitchenware was well stocked. TV reception in living room was limited, at best, with many channels that had audio and no video. There was no response from calling maintenance. Rec center hours were limited, presumably due to COVID. What we did enjoy was being away from touristy, high-priced amenities and enjoying nature in the beautiful surroundings. We would consider returning in the future, and hope to take advantage of summer activities, like the beaches.

The unit is very functional and spacious. Large patio with grill and plenty of grassy outdoor space with unit. Dubois is sort of in the middle of no where but we were able to make 1 to 2 hr drives for downhill skiing. Furniture, carpet, and bathroom fixtures are dated and show their age and wear.
