My husband booked this over night stay including cream tea/coffee, dinner & breakfast as our Valentines treat. The castle itself is a fabulous looking building with lots of charm and lovely grounds. We were booked into a Castle View room, which is a separate building within the immediate grounds of the castle. The room was big, comfortable and well decorated...

My wife and I stayed for our wedding anniversary and we glad we did. The room was superb and the food delicious but to top it all the staff were incredibly helpful. I would like to say a big thank you to Lian the bar manager for her help in explaining the varied selection of drinks and her warm welcome....

We spent a night here to celebrate our twentieth anniversary. The whole experience was most enjoyable, the room, the castle, evening meal & breakfast plus the tour of the tower. The staff were most friendly & helpful. We stayed in a castle view room which was tastefully decorated. The castle is set in beautiful grounds in a nice part of...

Booked here for afternoon tea. Very well priced, staff fantastic and surroundings beautiful. It was a surprise for my mams 60th birthday. I lived in Haydon Bridge for many years before leaving to live in Leeds and can't believe I never visited this place. I would recommend to anyone.

We had a room in the main building, well appointed and large, with a lovely 4 poster bed. The bathroom was amazing; larger than many hotel bedrooms, with Janet & John basins, a sunken jacuzzi bath, separate shower cubicle and small sauna. The restaurant is in keeping with the overall decor of the building, service was attentive without being intrusive...

We stayed in the Cadwallader room at Langley Castle for one night as a birthday treat for my wife. The room is accessed via a spiral staircase which could be difficult if you are unsteady on your feet, although I believe there is a lift which staff can help you use. The room is well presented with stonework on show...

An amazing hotel, 5 star:- accommodation, food, staff and all round experience. The staff were all very knowledgeable about the Castle and its history. They were happy to answer any questions. The rooms were fabulous, can't wait to go back.

Stayed just the one night for a business meeting the following morning. The castle itself is surely the reason to stay, but the defining feature of the place would be the staff who are fantastic. Helpful, pleasant, subtle and thoroughly professional. Very enjoyable food and wine, reasonably priced for venue and quality. Nice, comfortable accommodation in stables annexe. Staff offered...

My partner my son and I stayed in this hotel to celebrate my birthday. We had cream tea in the afternoon and a cordon bleu meal in the evening. My son is severely disabled and we stayed in a superior castle lodge. It was lovely and accommodated our needs admirably. The staff could not do enough for us and their...
