Perfect location. Very clean. Very nice owners and wonderful breakfast daily. We stayed in the MainHouse at the Executive suite. A little kitchenette right across the hall was well utilized by us for ice and plates and such. Jacuzzi tub was perfect. The king size bed was very firm…too firm for me and a foam topper would probably help for someone like me. 😊 Great location towards town. DoorDash delivered with no issue.

We were going to an outdoor concert at Nissley Winery, so we needed a local hotel as our overnight. This bed and breakfast was less than 10 minutes away, and with good ratings. So we stayed here, and are glad we did. If you are looking for POSH, this is not the place. If you like a homey type room, dated, (with basic 80's decor like you'd see if you were visiting your grandmother's house,) but very clean accommodations, then this is the place. Tim, the Innkeeper, was warm, engaging and helpful. Our room, the Executive suite upstairs, was immaculate, with a little sitting room and TV. There is a shared microwave/iron/ice maker area also upstairs. Breakfast the next morning was served in the guest house next door, downstairs. Delicious quiche, french toast and fresh fruit. Plus her too luscious cheese danish and peach crumble. YUM! There's also 2 horses boarding there that were very friendly. An overall nice stay.

My husband and I so enjoyed our stay. It is away from town but not too far away. Quiet and peaceful. We loved the vibe and feel like family now. Breakfast…so darn good. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests. Tim and Susan are very warm and friendly. It was very nice to make a cup of coffee and watch the sunset and the cows in the field from our deck. We booked next years stay upon departing. That is how much we enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful Room, clean and comfortable. We had the Wicker Room. Excellent breakfast. We didn't need a lunch after that breakfast. Nice country location, bordering cows on one side, and horses on the other. Very pleasant hosts too.

Whatever you do, please do not stay here. This place is bad news and the owners are terrible. Worst bed and breakfast ever. The linens are dirty and old. It is close to E-town college which was nice, but other than that, I was not impressed. Needs more work

I stayed at West Ridge Guest House this past weekend with my toddler in order to attend a wedding in the area. I wasn't sure what to expect because I hadn't stayed in a B&B before. It was perfect. Admittedly, it is a bit off the beaten track, but that is kind of the point. However, it was easily within half hour of Hershey and Lancaster, allowing us to take in Dutch Wonderland and Hershey Chocolate Factory, not to mention great shopping at the outlets nearby. I was particularly impressed by the hospitality. We checked out early on Monday morning, before breakfast hours, so that we could drive directly to preschool and work. Not only did the host pack a great portable breakfast for us, but also packed a lunch for my daughter when he learned that I planned to stop to pick up something on our way. This type of service cannot be matched by chain hotels! It felt like spending a weekend at the home of a friend. We could not have asked for more! The rooms were quaintly decorated. While my personal taste is more modern, I appreciated the charm and cozy feel to the accommodations. My toddler loved looked at the cows from the deck of our room. All in all an excellent stay!

My wife and I have been coming regularly to Elizabethtown (from the UK) for 9 years to visit my Mother, who lives in the Masonic Village there.

Up until now, we have always stayed at the Holiday Inn Express because it's nearby. But we've never much liked it - it's close to the freeway, slightly shabby, the breakfast room is small & nasty and the rooms are a little odd, with the bathroom partly in the bedroom. So, this time we decided to try something else; West Ridge Guest House. What a revelation! OK, it too is slightly dated, but that is easily overlooked due to the bucolic location and the hospitality of Bob & Alison, the innkeepers since January 2015. We had the "Country" room, which is very comfortable (and very large!), two king size beds and a small deck with open views. The bathroom has a tub and an over-tub shower and there’s plenty of hot water. The building has open fields behind it, and a quiet residential district in front, and we didn't hear any noise at all, other than the very occasional airplane going into Harrisburg International Airport - but there are only 1 or 2 of those a day.

But the highlight has been Bob's breakfasts. You choose each evening what you want the following morning (there is a choice of two different cooked breakfasts or continental) and it's prepared fresh for you when you appear at your chosen time. We stayed for a week, and Bob produced something delicious and different every day. Plus, if you have the main breakfast choice (as opposed to continental), you don't need any lunch!

Bob & Alison were very welcoming and hospitable and I don’t see how they could have done better. Altogether an excellent experience, and we will definitely be staying at West Ridge on future visits.

The innkeeper is courteous, friendly and efficient. The breakfast meals are always very good. We always stay in the Executive room and the hot tub and fireplace help make our stay special. Great place to relax, and unwind.

This is a very nice bed and breakfast in a beautiful setting with farms all around. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. The made to order breakfast was quite good with freshly made muffins, and a choice of breakfast dishes (you order the night before). Much better to stay here than a standard motel.

Westridge has a new onsite manager as of January 2015. He has the potential to take an already great place to a new level. Customer service was outstanding and breakfasts were incredible. The new managers have plans to make a few needed upgrades in decor and technology. The location is lovely and very peaceful. Westridge is within a 30 minute drive of key attractions around Lancaster, Hershey, and Harrisburg. Its a great alternative to standard chain hotels and motels in the area.
