My fiance and I stayed here Halloween weekend. Amanda Gish House is a charming cozy little place that reminded me of my grandmother's house; filled with antiques and old photos and history. The innkeepers were friendly and informative- we had great conversation over breakfast and they directed us toward the Antique District when we asked where to find them.

Stayed here two nights for a getaway/anniversary. Inn was beautifully restored and convenient to Elizabethtown and Lancaster County. Comfortable beds, great shower and an excellent breakfast. Hosts are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommended!

> Places like the Amanda Gish house leave us wondering why we ever stay at a chain hotel. Immaculate, comfortable and filled with enough period pieces to qualify as a minor museum, this three-room B&B can serve as an excellent base to explore Lancaster County or just get away from an urban rat race. > Hosts Ann and Dave Royer...

We had gone to Bube's for dinner and didn't want to drive the 2 hrs back home. So we booked this B&B, we could not have been happier with our stay. Anne & Dave were perfect host's. They go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. We stayed in the French room, beautifully decorated, and comfortable...

Anne at the Amanda Gish house was incredibly nice—very fitting for such an incredibly nice house! The room was very spacious and clean and had great amenities including a hot-tub bath tub with clean robes and slippers provided. The house itself is wonderfully old with elegant fixtures. Anne and her husband allowed us full use of the guest fridge and...

We are so happy we stayed here rather than the Holiday Inn because we had a truly unique experience. The rooms were really lovely, the bed comfortable, and the french toast breakfast was delicious! I hope there's a chance for us to visit again.

Anne and Dave are the best. We had such a wonderful time at the Inn. The place was perfect and the food was great. It is a superb location for visitors to the area visiting relatives or just taking in the area as a visitor. Be sure to check out the local brew-pubs and there are more around the area....

We stayed at the Amanda Gish House for two nights over Veterans Day weekend. We wanted a quick get-away from DC, and Lancaster County is surprisingly close. Many of the things to do in Lancaster County are spread out all over the county, so Elizabethtown turned out to be a good location. We stayed in the Garden Room, and it...

We had a wonderful, too short stay at the Amanda Gish House. Ann was a perfect host, and the room we stayed in (the French room) had charming decor, comfy bed and fantastic bathroom. The breakfast was *so* good-- my favorite part was the homemade ginger scone. It was the best scone I've ever eaten. You can quote me on...

My husband and I have been staying intermittently at the Amanda Gish House for almost three years for a total of approximately 10 times. Each stay has been a complete joy, and I cannot say how much I look forward to returning. The house is impeccably kept in a late 1800s–early 1900s style yet maintains all modern amenities (baths with...
