The Amanda Gish house was recommended to me by a caretaker of the Masonic Village where my mother could stay as she attended to my grandfather who entered hospice. The close proximity to the Masonic Home and the College of Elizabethtown made it an ideal location. Ann and Dave, the owners, were lovely and accommodating, and my sister was able to book an additional room to join my mother. I found the rooms charming, especially the French and Rose room. My mother (who struggles with using a computer and unable to post her own review) found the breakfast to be heavenly. Ann and Dave provided a lovely tranquil space in a very stressful time. Thank You!

Our room was very cleanand bed was very comfortable. The only draw back was lack of places to put our clothing and another night stand would have been nice. Otherwise it was great. We were close to everything. The inn keepers recommended 2 bike trails which we took. Lovely ride and walking trails.

Anne and Dave are the best. We had such a wonderful time at the Inn. The place was perfect and the food was great. It is a superb location for visitors to the area visiting relatives or just taking in the area as a visitor. Be sure to check out the local brew-pubs and there are more around the area. You are a very brief drive to Hershey and also to Lancaster. Stay here and relax and enjoy.

My fiance and I stayed here Halloween weekend. Amanda Gish House is a charming cozy little place that reminded me of my grandmother's house; filled with antiques and old photos and history.
The innkeepers were friendly and informative- we had great conversation over breakfast and they directed us toward the Antique District when we asked where to find them.

We had gone to Bube's for dinner and didn't want to drive the 2 hrs back home. So we booked this B&B, we could not have been happier with our stay. Anne & Dave were perfect host's. They go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. We stayed in the French room, beautifully decorated, and comfortable room. I had mentioned to my husband is was the best sleep I had had in several days. The breakfast was delicious, loved the home made granola.

Anne at the Amanda Gish house was incredibly nice—very fitting for such an incredibly nice house! The room was very spacious and clean and had great amenities including a hot-tub bath tub with clean robes and slippers provided. The house itself is wonderfully old with elegant fixtures. Anne and her husband allowed us full use of the guest fridge and other household amenities—including some great whiskey! Anne's breakfast was delicious and I am very happy that we built up an appetite before sitting down. All in all, I could not recommend this house higher. Thanks Anne!

Numerous thoughtful touches really made our stay here memorable, from a small box of chocolates on the table to extra towels in the bathroom. Ann and her husband were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. It's close enough to town that you can walk, if the weather is nice enough.

Plus, roll down the windows in your car on the way to this BnB and smell the chocolate from the nearby Dove/Mars chocolate factory!

This is a very peaceful place to stay with notable attention-to-detail. We found the bed to be very comfortable, all of the guest areas impeccably clean, and the breakfast delicious. The warm, sweet smell of chocolate and roasted almonds wafting through the air from the MARS/Dove factory just down the street doesn't hurt, either!

The House is a gorgeous Victorian lovingly restored by hosts Ann and Dave. The House is centrally located to lots of great attractions in the area. Breakfasts were delicious and everything was homemade. Can't wait to go back when the porches and gardens are in bloom. Highly recommend a stay for an adult weekend.

We have become B&B fans over the last several years and this is definitely one in the top tier.
