First…The staff were really nice and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and seem to have been remodeled recently, especially the bathroom. The rooms are carpeted and clean. Breakfast was decent and well served. The pool was maintained. This is not the least expensive place to stay in the area and if it were not for a few things i would have given it 4 stars. We were staying 4 days three nights for a couple of events. That means we had a fair amount of clothes. The room had exactly two drawers for two people to unpack for the long weekend. Needless to say, we lived out of our suitcases. Whats more, the desk has a chair for working there. But its the only chair in the room. We asked for a second chair and were advised there were no chairs. They told us that when the remodeling was done they intentionally removed all chairs other than the desk chair. With two or more people there is not enough seating other than sitting on the edge of the bed. Eating takeout in for two is difficult. It appears that this place is designed for a single occupant , one to two nights stay with minimal clothing. When we checked in was the first time we were advised that the room was NOT CLEANED each day. They said it was every other day. On the second day we were told that it wasn’t every other day, It was no service the first TWO DAYS then then if you stay a third day, you get service! They did service our room the second day after we complained. I realize these design and policy issues are not within the control of the staff. The staff did its best to help us when it could. Overall we were somewhat disappointed with this Marriott Bonvoy hotel on a long weekend stay in May 2023.

This hotel is not flashy but it does most things well. The room felt fairly new and in good condition. Service was good even when I threw them curveballs by asking them to charge a different credit card during my stay then the one I gave when I checked in.
The lone weak point during my stay was breakfast where the "restaurant" )if we can call it that), was too small for when hotel is at high capacity. It was quite a chaos in there. The food itself was not fantastic but compared to other hotels of this brand elsewhere in the country, I was in line with expectations so I would not criticize. It's more the venue which could have been better.
While I was not wowed, considering the price I paid I felt like the value was fair and I would recommend it.

We were very pleased with our breakfast experience! Brian is wonderful! He always has everything filled up/stocked, very efficient cleaning tables when a party leaves. We've never had a hotel breakfast experience like the past 2 days, great job!
Then there was the rest of our stay...checked in to get an unclean dirty room. Had to wait for the front desk girl to go upstairs to check if our new room was cleaned. Once we got there we found a plastic fork under the bed, uggh really? Beds were really soft too. Then there's the pool, there was only 2 towels when we went in & 2 tables had peoples stuff on it, but we were the only ones in the pool.

Overall Cleanliness and upkeep. The welcoming area was filthy when we arrived, floor was in bad need of a sweep and carpets needed a vacuum. Sticky spots on ground to the point we did not want to set our luggage on floor. Elevators were filthy as well, floors were sticky and full of dirt and grime. Our room was very similar in the bathroom, other peoples hair all over the bathroom and bathtub as if it was not wiped / swept after last person stayed. The next morning all the same dirt and grime from the day before was still prominent in the breakfast area. This hotel appeared to be under staffed and lacking care to the attention to detail that make people feel good about their hotel choice. This Marriott property needs to ensure their space is taken care of and cleaned properly. People come for the brand name of Marriott and this was not an experience I expected staying at a Marriott property. Very Dissatisfied.

There were a # of disappointments during our most recent trip. The hotel has implemented a $5 daily parking fee (it should be noted that this hotel is in the middle of a massive parking lot). The last few trips have meant the same breakfast available day after day. They used to alternate scrambled eggs and omelets and then sausage and bacon...however now it is scrambled eggs & sausage every morning. We were woken up with a wake up call we did NOT request at 5:30 am our first night. When we spoke with the front desk we found out that we were going to get another one the 2nd day! And finally, no housekeeping. We expect fresh linens daily. Since covid it appears that housekeeping is no longer a standard. Disappointing.

Completely unimpressed. Stayed 2 nights . Upon arrival there was half a roll of toilet paper in the room. We assumed, incorrectly, that another roll would be provided when the room was cleaned the next day. When we returned to our room around 4:00 it wasn't cleaned so I went to the front desk to inquire why and get more toilet paper. I was told that you have to stay 3 nights to have your room cleaned - I was never informed of this. As far as the toilet paper, I was told they had a shortage but a short time later a housekeeper brought me 1/3 of a roll. We left for dinner and when we returned I again asked for more and was told they didn't have any. I asked if they could take some out of another room - nope, sold out. I asked if someone could run to Walmart and get some, and I was told that the desk attendant was the only one there. He, no kidding, handed me 4 napkins from the breakfast area. I thought I was being punked. You knew at 4:00 that there was a shortage and at that time there was at least two of you there and one of you couldn't go get more? Embarrassing. There are plenty of other hotels close by. I encourage you to seek them out. We will never stay here again.

This hotel apparently does not accommodate those are passing through and need to stop and rest. We were traveling late on a Sunday night and we’re getting tired around 1:00 a.m. Monday morning. We stopped here and asked if they had a pet-friendly room available. The front desk clerk stated that she did have a room for us but there was a two night minimum stay. (This is Sunday night/Monday morning.) We told her we were just passing through and just needed one night. She recommended another Marriott hotel in the immediate area as she was unable to rent a room to us for a single night. The price difference was substantial so we kept driving for another hour and a half and checked into the beautiful and welcoming Residence Inn Cleveland Mentor, which appears to be recently updated. They accommodate overnight guests with no minimum stay requirement.

We were in town for a basketball tournament and stayed 2 nights. Our room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful especially with our large group. Only downside would be they ran out of pool towels at one point. The mall is literally right across the street and several restaurants are close by. Great location!

The rooms were clean and although they did not clean each day, we were able to get anything we needed like clean towels or toiletries. The staff was pleasant and offered help for whatever we needed. The pool was not huge, but it was clean and the temperature was great.

During my stay Thea provided excellent customer service. She assisted me with additional towels for my stay. Thea also helped me to get a fresh cup of coffee when there were coffee grounds in the dispenser. During my interaction with the front desk Thea was ver pleasant and helpful considering it was Thanksgiving Day. In essence Thea provided my family and i with excellent customer service.
