Absolutely Beautiful Wedding! It was everything I imagined! Wedding was outside in the court yard. Erica was the best!!! I offered to come in and help set up and do center pieces and was told NO. Food was great!! Our suite was huge and clean beside the bathroom mold. One shower never got hot water but the other shower in...

There was a wedding at the hotel and clearly not enough front desk staff to handle the influx of guests. We waited for 20 minutes just to speak with a clerk. The newly renovated room was mediocre. The bed was soft and the towels were like sandpaper. The free continental breakfast was quite skimpy and one waffle maker for the...

Our experience started with the creepy parking garage with human feces present. Then escalated to entering our room which had not been cleaned. And to top it off, we put up with a all night sex a thon in the room next door. The walls were so thin, not only did I hear it all, my bed moved as well....

I would not wish an experience like that of my family and I on anyone! Unfortunately, I was given false information regarding the Avalon and not knowing the Erie area at all, I just took the word shared. It was a waste of $400 for the following reasons: -poor and limited customer service; apparently there was only one person working...

Basic accommodations in a convenient location. If the elevators and the basement waiting area for the elevators were cleaned up it would make a positive impact on the experience. The free breakfast was basic but acceptable. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the washrooms were older but not anything that would stop a person from staying at...

Attended the Erie Microbrew Fest and the Avalon is within a short walking distance of the venue. That is the only thing going for this hotel. The rooms are drab and questionable. There are beds, shower, toilet and tv; but nothing remarkable to say about them. It was a warm day and the a/c unit would not work. Called the...

The Avalon has a great location right in the downtown area of Erie, P.A. but...... The hotel has supposedly been renovated but it looks old and drab. The "Superior" room we had was quite large but there was no place to sit except the taped up desk chair. There is plenty of room for a sofa or a comfortable chair...

My friends and I booked a room for a bachelorette party. We checked in at 8 o'clock and received three keys to our room. None of them worked. We got them fixed and again, they did not work. So we were switched to another room that hadnt been cleaned yet. So we were transferred to another room and received 20%...
