Detailed Reviews
Not the Ritz but a clean, quiet, hotel. This is an older hotel that has been updated a couple years back. It’s a Roadway so no frills but a good place to lay your head for the night. Beds are comfortable although I would recommend a different pillow supplier they do suck. Room has what you need ,comfortable size bathroom, walls are not beat up, carpet is not gummy and the place does not wreak of smoke and mold. Just a nice little hotel to stop for a night.

This is an older motel that has been updated. Being right along an extremely busy US Hwy 30, it was surprisingly quiet, even without the A/C (which wasn't needed) running! Most importantly, it was clean! No dirty corners, no dingy furniture, a bright bathroom with a well working fan. And the desk staff were quite pleasant. Yes, it's a Rodeway Inn, a simple motel, but it is the best Rodeway Inn I've spent a night in during my 40 years of traveling. Will gladly stay here again if I'm back in the area.

If you need an inexpensive clean place to stay with no frills, this is your place. If you are east bound, they are a challenge to get into, but they called me at noon on my arrival day to explain how to get in. That is good customer service. U-shaped, two story motel with exterior doors. Parking in the center. Most, if not all rooms recently renovated. Hard wood floors, fridge, microwave, dresser, desk, desk chair, over stuffed chair and flat screen TV. You get about 600 channels it seems. Only complaint about the room is that the bathroom has a single pedestal sink, so there is minimal space to lay toiletries when you have several people in the room. There are no electric plugs in the bathroom. Only two sets of towels left in the room. Check in speed was reasonable. Internet worked well. No breakfast, but for this rate, and this cleanliness, I'll eat at McD's down the street. Would stay again without hesitation.

Myself and my fiancée and my niece needed a place to stay after a pipe burst in our apartment, the staff was absolutely wonderful, they were extremely accommodating and very sweet. The room was very clean and smelled great, decorated wonderfully. They were very attentive to our needs, made sure everyday we stayed to ask multiple times if we needed anything, everything was ok, did we have enough of everything. I absolutely would recommend place to anyone looking for a great place to stay for a great price. I definitely would stay here again and again and would tell anyone who asks stay there also

The information on the Booking.com site says it has breakfast but, if coffee, a granola bar, and an apple constitutes a breakfast, well then this place is for you! Otherwise, stay away! We complained at the desk and they said it was “considered breakfast y Wyndham “ so there you have it!

They may have remodeled and such to make them a lot less trashy than before, but I am not too happy about their deceptive business practices! They have a large sign outside saying that they have a 3 night special for $50 Something. Considering that this fleabag motel is trying to change their appearance and that is what you'd think a rundown place like this would already charge per night, you would assume that is the price for all three nights, not each night individually. Not so. Beware.

We chose this hotel on price alone since our Airbnb host flaked out on us and left us without a place to stay at 10pm. I was a bit skeptical about how clean the room would be and whether or not the AC would work (temp was 96 that day) for a hotel in this price range. When we pulled into the parking lot at 10:40pm I was not comforted by the apparent age of the building, having a 1960s motel look. I couldn’t see the paint job or quality of upkeep since it was dark and my night vision isn’t great. However, my first impression of the lobby was a pleasant surprise - it looked new, clean, and well kept. The owner greeted me with a smile and seemed genuinely happy to welcome us. Check in was quick and painless. Upon entering the room we were immediately impressed by the quality of workmanship that was evident from the renovation; they didn’t just slap a coat of paint on it and call it good. The floors are hardwood, the bed frame and mattress are new, TV was a good size flat screen, the new AC unit worked great, sinks and bathroom were completely new and very clean. I was shocked that a room this affordable could be so nice. My clients put me in 4 and 5 star hotels, so I have a pretty high standard when it comes to acceptable accommodations - this place was great! It wasn’t a large room, but it was perfectly suited to our needs. The mini fridge and microwave were a nice added touch.
The owners have worked hard to make this a very nice place to stay. The owner told me that it has taken them three years of ownership to get the previous owners low ratings replaced with their own higher ratings and now their perseverance is paying off. I give them 5 stars!

We stayed for 10 days at Mallview. The owners set this motel in a class of its own with their pride of ownership. Umesh and Lina are so accommodating, they will have our repeat business. The room is very large and clean. It has a nice reading chair plus a desk and chair and a huge flat screen TV. The beds are super comfortable. With the mini-fridge and microwave, you have all the comforts of home. Great shower, large bath vanity. Laundry facilities on site too. Westmoreland Mall is across the highway, restaurants are walking distance or a short ride away. This motel is on Hwy 30, yet inside the room, you would never know it. Extremely quiet. Highly recommend.

The owner was friendly, the room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom looked like it was newly renovated. For the price, this is an excellent choice. I would recommend a stay at the Mallview.

When you stay at a typical Rodeway Inn, you don't expect a five-star experience. You hope for a reasonably clean and comfortable room for the night. This Rodeway in Greensburg succeeds in providing just that. This is on older property with a typical motel layout from the time period it was built in: two stories in a U shape with parking in the middle. Room doors open directly to the outside parking, which is very convenient if you have a ground-floor room. The room was very clean and well-appointed for a budget hotel: very comfortable beds, dresser with flat screen TV and decent cable, desk and desk chair plus an overstuffed chair. alarm clock/radio. The small bathroom is no-frills but clean and everything worked, with a tub/shower. Our room had carpeting which seemed clean. The air conditioning worked well, and the small refrigerator and microwave were welcome surprises.
We received a very friendly greeting at check-in, which was quick and painless.
Be aware that Route 30 in this area is divided, and this motel is on the west-bound side, so if you are traveling east-bound you will have to pass the motel and backtrack a bit. The motel is just west of the Westmoreland Mall. Using my GPS gave me a false location in the mall. The manager said that using the mailing address gives a false location on some GPS's but not on others. Their business card gives another address to use with GPS: 935 East Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg PA 15601. It would be helpful if the Choice Hotels website gave both addresses.
Overall, we were completely satisfied with our stay given the price.
