I enjoyed every aspect of this hotel. If you are in the Greensburg PA area, I highly recommend it. The building is in good repair and very clean. The room was spacious and well appointed. The furniture, fixtures, and vanity seemed new and of high quality for this price range. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was quiet. Also' they have signs up about quiet hours starting at 10 pm and say they enforce it so their guests have us disturbed rest. Breakfast had many choices including eggs, meat, yogurt, fresh pancakes, etc. and the coffee was good. Front desk was helpful and efficient.
I was traveling for work and needed to check in early because I work night shift. The staff was very accommodating in letting me check in early so that I could rest, but that was after I enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The room was spotless and very comfortable! The hallways were quiet even during the day. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! The location is convenient and just enough off the beaten path, but still very accessible. I will be back for sure when I’m in town again for work!
I took my granddaughters here for a much-needed night of rest, relaxation and fun. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean, felt very safe, was quiet... lots of small touches like giving us each a bag with water and chips when we came in. The beds were very comfortable. There was a nice indoor pool. There was a very nice breakfast included - tons of choices! Really, really nice stay. I will definitely go back.
Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was VERY clean. The cinnamon rolls and the sausage were especially good. Weird trash placement in the breakfast area caused a back ups multiple times.
Stayed due to a concert at the Palace theatre. Had booked a king suite. It was large, very clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice also. Breakfast was delicious. Well stocked with lots of options including those tasty cinnamon rolls. Outstanding job!
We just needed a place to stay for the night while traveling. The Holiday Inn Express turned out to be great value for the money. Of course it was clean and the room had the usual comforts. What really impressed us was their free hot breakfast. While traveling during COVID we had grown accustomed to hotels giving us a sack with a piece of fruit and a granola bar. Not here! Lots of variety in oatmeal and cereal , breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, other edibles,, and beverages. They even had a very nice and patient woman making pancakes and bacon to order and restocking everything! We left very content but then came the greatest service of all. My husband unwittingly had left his toiletry bag with his medications at the room. The manager Patrice called us on the road and we made arrangements with her to have the bag shipped to our final destination. Bless her heart, Patrice was at the Fed Ex office within the hour and even called us back to tell us the cost. We really appreciate that she went out of her way to help us. Great service! …
I’ve stayed at 6 or 7 Holiday Inn Expresses over the last 5 weeks. All of the people there were nice at the very least. When I checked in here, Jill was at the desk. Wow! She was great! Jill was nice, informative, and engaging. She was the right type of funny in a professional setting. The hotel itself is great. It’s a really nice place for a fair price. 10/10 hope the next hotel and personnel I come across are as pleasant as this.
Very friendly staff, clean and farly new. Heated pool. The only negitives was the coffee was not good. In their defence, all the HI i have stayed at have had bad coffee. Hit, hint to the HI corp. I must say the hotel Met all of our needs, but the very friendly staff made it so much more enjoyable. I guess that is a Pennsylvania thing.
Spent a few weeks there and was amazed at the hospitality by some of the staff. They upgraded our room after a day or two there and Tammy helped move all the stuff. The pool is always amazing but could be warmer. Breakfast was always spot on and lots of choices and tasty. Martha in the morning was the bright spot with her friendliness. Rooms are spacious and lots of amenities. Down side to it all was the recurrent smell of marijuana that could be detected as soon as you walked in the front door many times and the front desk staff in the evening were hard to find. If you post no smoking (cigarettes) then please make other guests honor that. Housekeeping only changed the sheets when we asked but all in all was a good experience.
My husband and I use this hotel almost every time we visit our daughter’s family And we have always in the past been very pleased with it. This time was different. We booked for 2 nights. The front desk was very friendly as usual. When we tried to use the hair dryer it did not work and we thought ok , those things happen. What really bothered us is when we returned from our daughter’s for our second night, my husband noticed our sink really had not been cleaned. What I noticed when I looked at the made beds, there was a big lump in the middle of one of them. I pulled the cover off and the sheet was all balled up , whoever made the bed had not even bothered to straighten the sheets out on either bed and looking at the floor that didn’t even look like that had been vacuumed. So disappointed, we have never had a bad experience here before but obviously housekeeping didn’t care how they serviced our room.…
