Extremely small rooms.....beware .....seem to be clean but our smallest bedroom at home is larger than there double bed room.location is great and although rt 6 has quite. Bit of traffic not heard in the room
This motel looks like they have not done ANY updating since 1960! First of all, made a reservation on Friday for the very next day. Was told that all they had was a queen room, non smoking , which was perfect cause we don't smoke. When we got there on Friday the lady at the desk said she had no reservations for us. I told her that I had a confirmation number and she nastily said well who did you speak to and what time did you call. I told her I spoke to David. She said he was the owner. So she said she would show us what she had available . First she took us to a room and as soon as she opened the door we were almost knocked down by the stench of cigarettes!! So I said absolutely not! And asked what else she had. Well she then took us to a room and said it was the top of the line room that they have. Well we had to take it cause there were no other rooms available in the area. The room had a old musty smell. I can't believe that this was their top of the line room. The room consisted of two beds and two dressers separated by a wall with a bathroom in between that was about as big as a shoebox! 2 old tv's and one remote. The beds were mushy, but the sheets looked clean. Would I ever stay here again....not if you paid me! I would rather camp in a tent!! This place was schievey!!…
We were looking for a room at the last minute, the lady at check in was very nice and helpful and they had the cheapest rate of the places we stopped in. The room was small but clean and its all we needed. And the lady even told us a couple of places to eat! would definitely stay here again.
My husband booked a room for three people at this hotel. He specified a non-smoking room, and was told that the room would have two queen beds. The location was great, along the main drag. We prepaid for the room at the front desk upon checking in, as required by their terms. Our mistake was not looking at the room before we paid. We were shown to what looked to be the older part of the motel - a long building separate (but adjacent) to the main building. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. The carpet was stained. There were holes in the window screens. We didn't expect much for a motel, but this was unacceptable. We asked for a different room, but there were no other vacancies. This was apparently a nonsmoking room. It was horrible, and so unacceptable that we were prepared to forfeit our payment and stay somewhere else, but there were no vacancies nearby. We purchased odor neutralizer (Oust) from a nearby grocery to try to mask the stench, but it didn't work. When we left, our clothes reeked of cigarette smoke.…
