Just came back from a 3 day/2 night trip to Woodloch with my husband and 2 daughters, ages 14 & 11. This was our first trip here and we were very happy with our stay even with a hard to please teen and pre-teen. With most typical Spring Break destinations off the list this year, was looking for something that was in the tri-state area that just allowed us to drop our bags and have fun on the premises similar to our prior Spring Break cruises. We stayed in the homes at the Springs which allowed for ample room to spread out with a 3 bedroom/2-1/2 bath. Food at the clubhouse on the meal plan was quite good, not amazing—but definitely above average. The activities are all well run, fun and engaging. Plenty to do indoors and outdoors—Family Feud, Bingo, Shooting Barn, Trivia Games, Minute To Win It, mini golf. Staff is super helpful and nice. Coffee bar is great. Escape Room was a ton of fun, but very difficult. Def recommend for a 2-3 day getaway with the family. Some things are showing their age, but with a property this size I can only imagine how difficult it must be to keep up with everything. …
We visited Woodloch for the first time last week and liked it so much we are returning tomorrow. It is a fabulous family resort that makes things easy. The edgewater suite could perhaps benefit from a cosmetic refresh, but it is the perfect layout for families, with a beautiful lake view as an added bonus. The activities are plentiful and the app made it easy to schedule. We did all of our meals take-out to avoid indoor dining, and the system the resort set up for that was seamless. The staff were all consistently pleasant and professional, and whatever capacity limits have been set make it possible to responsibly social-distance. It is evident how thoughtful and dedicated the management is to making this a great, safe experience for guests.
My husband, daughter, her husband and their two boys 10 and 12 stayed for 2 days in Woodloch pines. We had a great time. The kids loved the archery, mini golf and go karts the best. We participated in a lot of the activities, walked a million miles And had a lot of fun. this was our first vacation after getting vaccinated for Covid so it was much appreciated and special. Food was good, service excellent and the staff , kind and enthusiastic. The pool area is really nice and the slide got a lot of use! Joined the family Olympic Games and laughed the whole time. The other great thing was the activities were available and well supplied at all times. We had an impromptu shuffleboard game played under the lights that lasted until someone got 75 points. Took hours. Campfires were lit around the property making it ideal to meet and talk with other families. Really nice. Had a great time. Looking forward to checking out the spa next time.…
We went to woodloch for four days for our spring break with our two boys; 11 and 8. We stayed at the Edgewater Suite in building 1 which was a perfect location. The rooms are super outdated but perfectly comfortable. The view of the lake and the two bathrooms were great. Each morning they put out the schedule of activities and if you sign up first thing you get all of the activities you want so we didn't miss a thing! The staff were all amazing, including the front desk. They were very good about cleaning all activities between people, including spraying down bumper cars and go karts and even cleaning bowling pins and balls. We were very impressed with their attention to detail. The escape room was super fun, very hard but fun. The dining room was very cozy and nice. The food was high level cafeteria food. Super plentiful and edible but nothing four or five star. We LOVED our waitress, Brianna, she was amazing and great with our boys. Really all of the staff was lovely and super sweet. They even had charging ports for our car, overall it was a great family trip and we will definitely be back.…
We had so much fun visiting in winter for the first time. Snowtubing was so much fun and we had a great time playing all the games as a family! I felt all the COVID precautions were great and really made us feel safe. Food was terrific as always.
