Just got back from this beautiful hotel. The ambience is just unbelievable, we had a 2 bedroom suite, extremely comfortable for 2 couples. It included breakfast at Cocoon, or the sister Hotel. Dinner at Glass was on point. The food was amazing.
My daughter and I found Ledges as we were researching restaurants to visit while we rented an Airbnb. "Glass", the onsite restaurant at Ledges, got our attention. It was an hour away from the cabin I rented so we decided to extend our stay by 1-day and booked a room at Ledges. Wow!!! What a wonderful experience and we can't wait to revisit sometime in the future. We visited in December 2019, 3 days before Christmas and what we experienced was magical. The frozen waterfalls, the quaintness of the inn, and the time spent at "Glass". We enjoyed a wine flight, appetizers, and most of all the atmosphere. So warm and cozy!
We took a getaway to Ledges Hotel for Thanksgiving and couldn’t have been more thankful. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite and even brought the pup! As soon as we arrived and saw the water dish and treats for him, we knew it was a great decision. We felt completely safe with all COVID precautions taken. Do not miss a trip to the coffee shop (I only wish I would have bought one of the yummy pies that quickly sold out for the Thanksgiving holiday) and the Silk Mill. If you are into thrifting and antiques, a short 15-minute drive to Honesdale will satisfy your shopping cravings. Speaking of cravings, the food was phenomenal. We had dinner at the restaurant on site, and it was fantastic. Small plates, but amazingly prepared and presented, and the atmosphere was incredible. Also, the vouchers included for breakfast are a real plus. You can choose from a sit down hearty breakfast at the nearby Settler’s Inn or a grab and go at Cocoon (the previously mentioned coffee shop). Do try the bacon avocado toast if you find yourself at Cocoon...you won’t be sorry. We also took a memorable hike in the rain on a nearby trail. All in all, it couldn’t have been better and turned out to be just what we needed in the midst of an ongoing pandemic. We left refreshed and rejuvenated. Thanks again Ledges. Hoping to return in the Spring!…
Came here only overnight but it was so worth it and have already been planning a trip back! Room was clean and modern. The bed, the sheets, and the pillows were the softest most comfortable things I have ever slept on! The hotel staff during check in and check out were so friendly and helpful. The views WOW! Everywhere you look is something more beautiful than the next. Fire pits outside to enjoy the outdoors. Just gorgeous! Loved our visit and cannot wait to come back!
I would love to give it a 5 star rating, but I feel the rooms are greatly overpriced. Our room was slightly bigger than a closet. That being said, my daughter's wedding was there and the staff, the food, the venue was absolutely amazing. Historic buildings, waterfalls and scenery were spectacular.
