My recent visit to Settlers found that they could not accommodate my 4 night stay without moving me from one room to another after two nights. This in and of itself was not the problem. It was that they did not advise me of cost difference between the two rooms of $31.00 per night. Furthermore, I paid this higher fee... More

Settlers Inn was a very pleasant surprise at the end of our trip. Very nice room at a fair price. Excellent menu and wine list. Friendly and helpful staff. Grounds could use a little TLC, but it was the off season and that's a minor complaint when measured against the totality of our experience.

I think I would've gave this place a better review if it wasn't for the extra $40 I was charged for my 3 1/2 yr old daughter. I purposely booked a bigger room (King) so she can sleep on the same bed as us, but they kept insisting that I need to pay extra $40 for having her in the... More

We had been to Settlers Inn last fall and decided to treat our daughter and son-in-law to a first anniversary get away weekend. We had two king bed rooms - 204 and 206. The weather was fabulous. the hospitality superb and the food fresh and delicious. We cannot wait to do it again.

The Settler's Inn ran a promotional in observance of Veteran's Day. They were providing a free night's stay this evening to active military personnel and veterans. Unfortunately, we were unable to stay at the last minute due to illness. We were very disappointed since we were hoping to stay at the inn once again; our first stay was very pleasant.... More

I attended a friend's wedding that was also held at this venue and stayed two nights at the Inn. Truely one of, if not the most enjoyable overall stay in any hotel in my life. It felt as comfortable as being in my own home, except better. The historic Building with its woodwork, fantastic fireplace and even the furntiure in... More

while traveling through the poconos we cam across this wonderful inn. We were lucky enough to obtain a room for the night with the Help of John P at the front. This place is just beautiful and the John and John (seems the name john is needed to work the desk) were very warm and welcoming. Room was a delight,... More

I'm really very shocked by all the wonderful reviews of this Inn especially some comments on the beds. I feel like we stayed at a different place. We booked what was supposed to be one of their nicer/bigger rooms, one with a 2 person soaking tub, and we booked based on the reviews we read here. This was a stopover... More

This very well maintained b&b at the end of the not very busy main street in Hawley, Pa offers more than just a place to rest your head. A fine restaurant in the premises is welcoming as are the lovely gardens out back and a somewhat private porch out front. Pack light as there is no elevator.
