Okay, let me start this review by saying that hubby and I travel quite often with our golden retriever and as long as the room is clean and quiet we are all good. but the few issues we had with our room could be so easily rectified that it is frustrating that the owners could be so oblivious. Let me start with the good: -We stayed in room 307 which is an end unit with direct access from outside, great when traveling with a pup in tow and there was a wooded area mere feet away for our pup to relieve himself and there were dispensers with waste bags nearby. -Our room was clean, quiet and even though it quickly became evident that although the entire place was quite vacant, pretty much every guest checked in for the weekend was in the same area as us, however, there was only 1 occasion in the 2 nights we were there that we ever heard our neighbors and that was just briefly. -It turned out to be a pretty chilly weekend but thankfully the room heated up quickly and we were able to maintain a comfortable temp our entire stay. -Plenty of hot water and great water pressure. -Beds were super comfy (need to do better with those mini pillows though) -Good wifi and more than ample tv channels to choose from -Staff was super friendly and our room had been made up after we returned from our long day of hiking - trash emptied, towels replaced, bed made. -Our mini fridge kept everything really cold; soda & ice machines feet away -Love the small touches - makeup remover wipes, iron & ironing board, coffee machine with tea and coffees -Super fast check in and check out Now for the disappointing, especially because these issues could be so easily corrected and would show pride of ownership: -The bases of both nightstand tables were really rusty -The handle on the dresser was falling off, needed to flip around to use. -The desk chair was literally falling apart at the seams -Several curtain hooks were broken which led to the curtain hanging down limply -Soda machine in building we were in kept kicking our $1 back out, perhaps upgrade to allow for card payments or at least ensure machines work properly (but at least it didn't steal my money). -Brochures provided in lobby for local interests really weren't nearby at all. ie. Penns Cave -Never saw any info regarding alternative to regular breakfast option being offered nor did I see any pastries or beverages offered in lobby. Final thoughts - we would definitely stay here again, it was fairly central to all of the areas we visited but would like to see those minimal issues addressed, after all, if you're only utilizing a small fraction of your rooms why not make sure those you are putting guests in aren't the very best they could be.

Thank you for your feedback!! Always appreciated!!! Please keep in mind we did cut back in breakfast lounge due to Covid 19, but still offer Coffee, Hot Tea, Juice, Apples, Oranges, and Hot & Cold Cereal! Future reference for a full breakfast is directly across the street to Antonio's. He is a Diner style, but offers a great breakfast at a very fair price. Looking forward to seeing you again. The Red Roof Inn Hazleton rocks! The rooms have fridge, microwave, coffeepot, and functioning heat :). We normally stay at Red Roof Inns whenever possible because pets stay free. Some are nice, and some aren't so great. But this one was very nice. Lovely natural area behind the motel - like a small park - with a nice little spot to walk the dogs. We got a later checkout than normal because they had only given us one towel, and we had to wait for the laundry to finish. We were fine with that.

I had a very long term stay at this motel. Every one was friendly and nice. The rooms are not the same level as a 200 or 300 a night motel, but for the money it is a very nice place to stay long or short term. I travel a lot for work and what matters the most to me is cleanliness ... I stayed in a couple different rooms while I was in town and both rooms were extreemly clean. I always check for bugs... not even a hint.. very quiet and laid back with plenty of parking for cars trucks and even motorhomes and semi. If your coming to visit for a while or just tired and need a good place to rest for a day this is the highest on my personal list for comfort cleanliness and value. Very close to good food and walking distance from food and beer.

I was recently there because my husband was admitted to nearby hospital. Not knowing the area since I live in NJ and not knowing how long I would need a room for on top of being stressed out about my husband being in a hospital in another state. The manager Sonnie was great. So caring and accommodating with my situation. Sonnie turned a stressful trip into a much less stressful one and I will always be grateful. Highly recommend this hotel because of her!

Had stayed at this RRI a few months ago and it was OK. Made a reservation to stay for one night on our trip from SC to NH. My first disappointment was having a walk-in (no affiliations) get the same type room that I reserved at $20 less. When I questioned the desk clerk, I was told that he sometimes would give discounts (but not to me). The room was old, with worn furniture and bedding. The carpet was stained and dirty. Had we know the conditions of the room, we wouldn’t have stayed. The front desk lady asked about our stay and I told her about concerns. She told me that dhe would visit the room and followup with a phone call and adjustment, if necessary. I never heard from her. We will not stay here again, unless/until it is updated and cleaned.

My apologies for any inconvenience during your stay! As I did mention to you the Front Desk, a Manager on Call, and myself are available 24 hours a day to assure guest comfort. We would have changed your room to one more comfortable for you. A difference in rate may exist with Redicard member specials, agreements with companies for employee, etc.. Without a specific name or room it is hard to answer properly. As you travel through the area, My personal services are always offered with future reservations.
