The hotel has good parking and staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean rooms and a very good breakfast considering the Covid related constraints. Hotel has all the facilities you would need. We would happily stay here again.
Went here for a hockey weekend to see the Phantoms at Giant center and decided to make it a full weekend and see the game Sunday as well since this was the first time we were allowed back to a sports game so after scouring trip advisor we chose Tru-Great choice!! Staff was super friendly. Room was very clean and more than enough space for me and my son, nice tv with YouTube and free shows. Only drawback of tv imputs were impossible to reach- I travel with a roku that I couldn’t use but the showtime and YouTube made up for that. The free 24/7 coffee is a HUGE benefit. Noise wasn’t bad overall , but my second night, I could hear the neighbors coming their room in at like 3 am, sort did wake me up, but that was quick, not a huge deal, so if your a light sleeper it seems the walls are a little thin, but that’s most hotels! . I enjoyed the squeeze shower accessories, very easy to use. Shower was quite roomy and of course clean. Beds pillows some of the best I’ve slept in at hotels, very good for price! One note the app only controls the tv, not thermostat, lights etc like some other Hilton’s not a big deal though, but wanted to point that out. Oh and breakfast was AMAZING. Good fresh pancakes and sandwiches. Great value added to stay.Hotel had snacks that weren’t outrageous for other times of day, CVS, staples and Exxon very short walk if you need more. Didn’t use pool or fitness center, but both looked clean and nice. Last thing, 5th floor views are good. I could see giant center and mountains from my room 😎 as a hockey fan it made me happy! The elevator lobby there had a great view of Hershey while you waited and I hear some rooms have views of the parks and town as well. Overall 5 stars outstanding!…
This was our first visit for two nights April 3rd through 5th at this hotel. it is only about 2 years old. All staff was friendly and helpful. the facility is new and very clean it features a modern look and yes parts of it do resemble Ikea as others have mentioned. it's not a hotel that's going to appeal to everyone ..for doing a stay such as Hershey where you are at the park most of the day the hotel is fine .if you're looking for a hotel with more amenities than this wouldn't be your place. It features a clean modern look with pops of color that does kind of resemble a college dorm ..it's not a bad thing it's just not a look that's going to appeal to everyone .. I would say families with kids and younger couples will enjoy it. the price was good being it was near Hershey Park and was a holiday weekend. They do take AAA and the Hilton Honors program. They have a small pool no hot tub reservations required we did not use the pool. They have a laundry room that is coin operated. And a small gym. The location is on the edge of a neighborhood which some have said is odd but it felt very safe to me and everything was very accessible to all of the sites in Hershey ..not walkable but a few minute drive down the road. We were able to snag a room on the 5th floor so as far as noise goes we didn't have any . I can't comment what the noise Factor would be on other floors. The room itself is clean and functional again not fancy no furniture such as a dresser but okay for a short stay. There are hooks where you can hang things there is a fridge there is no microwave but you may use their microwave downstairs. There is no stay over room service but they will provide clean towels and anything else you might need. They have hand lotion hand soap shampoo conditioner and body wash in containers on the wall. A few of ours were empty which wasn't a big deal because I always bring my own but it is a good idea in concept. The beds were great very comfortable and so were the pillows. I tried to do the Hilton Honors app to request room and get digital key but none of that seemed to work no big deal, ust something to note. They offer a nice complementary buffet-style breakfast its pretty good compared to some other hotels I've stayed in in the last year with covid that just gave a granola bar and muffin in a bag. Back to the rooms.. they are on the small side if you have a large family you may find them tight.. only myself my husband and my teenage daughter ..if you are there for an extended period of time you may miss a dresser..but for a short quick Park trip this is a perfect Hotel ..I would stay again and recommend. …
We stayed at this hotel in February 2020 and then again in March 2021. I will first say - the staff is kind, helpful and really are trying to do their best. We see that and we appreciate it. However our experience a year apart were completely opposite. The room just wasn’t clean. The person at front desk came up to our room and “Recleaned” the areas we identified but it wasn’t enough. We have a toddler and a 10 year old. Our socks were all dirty just from walking in the room - their was food or something sticky on the lamps, their was dust and dirt in EVERY corner of the room. Sheets had stains on them. This was just not clean. For almost the entire stay, a majority of the hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel were empty. It was like we stayed at a totally different hotel this year than last. Upon check out I shared this with the front desk and begged them to have a manager go up to the room and look at it so that they can work with their staff on improving the experience for others . We are coming back through town again this weekend and have booked a different Hilton hotel - because of the lack of cleanliness of the rooms.…
I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay. The rooms were new, minimal and clean. Coffee and tea in lobby 24/7. Quiet And comfortable. Amble room for a family of three to stay overnight or two. Pool was small but completely clean. Yes you had to sign up for a slot but no issues. We had it to ourselves for the evening. Breakfast was good and the service was great. The lobby is fun and our preteen enjoyed hanging out. The hotel reMinded me of a fun, professional college dorm atmosphere (if you can imagine that ha!), but with a customer service area. No issues staying again!!
