A very nice, clean, and comfortable place to stay. Location is very convenient and closely located to the Hershey attractions. The room was very spacious, furnished with comfortable items. The bed and the pillows were in good shape. The room is well stocked with basic ammenities including fridge, TV Microwave Owen, coffee maker. The closet is big with a lot of space. The bathroom was very spacious and the fittings were in good shape. The shower pressure could be better. Breakfast was good for the level of the property. A lot of coffee options as well Juices. Pancake maker was also there. The staff is very cooperative, polite, and helpful. Plenty of parking spots, both covered and uncovered free parking is available for the guests. All in all this property provides best value for the amount of services being offerred.

This is the perfect place for a quick stay in Hershey. We visited the park over the weekend and wanted a clean, comfortable place to stay. This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations! I think Super 8 usually gets a bad rap, but this hotel was clean and comfortable for a short weekend stay. The bathroom was spotless, the bed was comfortable enough, and the service exceeded our expectations in terms of cleaning/sanitation due to covid. The hotel clerk sanitized my credit cards after handling them and gave us all of the information needed to make our stay comfortable. Even though the ice machine was temporarily broken, the hotel clerk was able to provide us a bag of ice upon our arrival. The value here is amazing compared to other nearby hotels. We would definitely recommend staying here and will likely stay here again whenever we visit Hershey!

Went to see Pentatonix at Giant Center and we live about an hour and a half away, so we decided to get a room rather than make the drive home after the concert and hit the outlets the next day. Googled "hotels close to Giant Center" and several came up. This was only a mile away and the room rate was very reasonable (total we paid with taxes, etc was only $84). Hotel was clean, modern, and updated. It is certainly no frills - only a small bottle of shampoo/conditioner - but for one night, who cares? The room had a refrigerator and microwave and the towels and sheets were in good shape and seemed to be good quality. It was very quiet, we were right by the elevator but didn't hear a sound all night. Breakfast buffet was well stocked with eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, cereal, yogurt, juices, etc. and was very clean. I would stay here again.

Sent to wrong room upon arrival which was occupied. They were upset I was trying to get into their room and told us we were at the wrong room. Went to the desk to report, and the young man was perplexed? He said some registration protocol was broken that caused the error and he was surprised. Told him a discount might be in order for us and the other occupants I disturbed and he said he would recommend that. When we arrived at the next room, the door was propped open with a towel, food in fridge, plus painters tape on the bathroom door hardware. Are we in someone else's room again? We go to use the phone to call the desk, and figured out thee phone was unplugged. Man came up. Was talking to someone on the phone about this further confusion and again he seems alarmed at this situation. Offers and explanation, tells me he'll handle a discount. Next afternoon our cards don't work. Girl at desk asks if we are supposed to be there. I said yes and but asked her "are we supposed to be here?". My assumption was that the key cards were improperly programmed since she asked us that. She reprogrammed and we were on our way again. Checking out, receptionist asked how everything was. Told her problems and said we had anticipated a courtesy discount. Also, she suggested we mishandled our key cards which is not the case. We protected them from electronic devices as instructed and carried in two different location, but I didn't argue with her. I told her a discount was promised, and she offered a 10% discount which I accepted but I think it should have been more. I think she was a manager, but she didn't seem to have any documentation that it had been offered. Said it would be credited to my card. 8days later, no credit. I understand things happen, but seems they don't have their protocol down to manage properly and they'll get it figured out most likely. The facility was fine. I'm mostly upset by offering a discount, and then not honoring their word. The only other thing wrong was a wrestling team was there and they didn't honor the curfew posted, but I never said anything, and they were thankfully gone the next day.

So we stayed 2 nights. Saturday & Sunday night. This hotel will pre-authorize your card before you even arrive at the hotel so be prepared if that's something that bothers you. While the hotel was clean in every area & the front desk was super friendly there were a couple of things that bothered us during our stay.
1. Walls were super thin. We heard every bit of conversation from the family next door. 2. Mattresses were not great and there is only a thin duvet cover on the bed to keep you warm at night. 3. I understand the COVID restriction on breakfast, but the grab-and-go bags could have offered more breakfast items instead of cookies & rice Krispie treats. 4. Ice makers on floors weren't working & had to go to the front desk each time to get ice. 5. Hotel left a huge floor fan running all night outside our room one night. Super loud and kept kids up. When i told the front desk the lady, she had no idea it was even running up there. 6. No housekeeping. I understand again COVID, but we aren't being given a discount on rates that are supposed to include these services.
Overall we would not stay here again, solely because there are MANY other options in the area that would have been cheaper. We paid almost $455 for 2 nights for the most basic hotel there. Need a stopover hotel, definitely. But wouldn't go back.

Dear Guest, Please accept our apologies that your stay did not meet your expectations and our amenities were reduced. During the summer months, the coverlet is on each bed and blankets are to be requested. Again, I apologize this was not relayed to you. I will forward this on to management so that we can avoid instances like you encountered. We strive to provide services to meet the needs of our guests. Housekeeping does not enter a room that is reserved for more than one night, again a Covid restriction. We tell our guests to let the front desk know if you want housekeeping, towels, cleaning, etc. done and they will come in. It is out hopes you would give us the opportunity to serve you better if you are in the Hershey area again.

When we checked in, a man at the desk wasn't very friendly and didn't smile or appreciate our business. When we booked the room during COVID-19, we knew that breakfasts could be continental, but the breakfasts that they provided in a brown paper bag were ridiculous. They were all sugar and carbs with no protein. On the first morning, the bag contained OJ, a Quaker chocolate chip granola bar, a Little Debbie oatmeal pie cookie, and a banana. The second morning, they said that they were out of bananas, so they put a Twinkie in with the Little Debbie oatmeal creme pie cookie and choc chip granola bar. If we were diabetic, our sugars would have gone through the roof! At least if they tried with bagels, muffins, and peanut butter and cream cheese, it would have been better. When I received a survey from Wyndham after we got home, I told them that their breakfast is dessert, not breakfast. I received a form letter back from a front desk associate, not even the manager. When I replied to her, she then replied that the snack bag was a courtesy, like she did us a favor. The website still said a hot breakfast, so they should have taken that down. It should have said that the breakfast was a "courtesy" and I would have called or not booked it at those prices. I told her that I completely understand about not having a hot breakfast due to the pandemic, but their choices are not breakfast. She seemed to minimize it and say that others have given them ratings that make them an 8.6. I would not stay here. We paid over $300 for 2 nights. You would think that they can try harder for continental breakfast.
The walls are paper thin also. We could hear the people on the other side of the wall talking all night and hear their TV. Stay at another hotel in Hershey. This hotel just wants their money and couldn't care less about their guests.

Service at check in and out was very friendly Hotel was clean, but could use some improvements. Breakfast not much to choose from. There was cereal, eggs, sausage, waffles, coffee, juice. The place smelled clean. Service was all very friendly. Our key card stopped working and the front desk was so kind to give us a new card. Asked if we needed a wake up call for breakfast. They was super friendly

Great service! So clean! From the reservation (we requested side by side rooms and were immediately accommodated) to the breakfast buffet the staff were friendly and courteous. The room and hotel were so clean. To be honest, we were hesitant to book a Super 8 but other hotels in the area were booked. We were so pleasantly surprised. We highly recommend.

I give this place all the stars! What a great stay! Our room was ‘uge! I mean it was GIANT. The room was stylish and CLEAN. So clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast area was well-stocked and well attended. We were only in the breakfast area a short time and a gentleman staff member came through twice to ensure things were clean and stocked. The parking lot is not big but there were spots as well as a covered parking area. The hotel is close to everything. I would DEFINITELY stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

Hotels were super expensive due to the location near Hershey Attractions. This hotel was nearby and quite reasonable. No pool, but most pools are closed now because of Covid precautions. And after a day at the park, we were too tired to swim even if they did have a pool.
Super convenient and close location. Didn't seem far to drive, but was out of town enough to not be in the "chaos" of town. Easy check-in. Man was lovely. Under roof parking. Hotel room super clean. Enough space for Mom, Grandma and three young children. Nice deep bath tub.
Breakfast wasn't hot because of Covid, but they had lovely "grab bags", and coffee. The adult bags had an orange juice, chewy granola bar and oatmeal cream pie. The kids bags has a chewy granola bar, a juice box, a twinkie or a chocolate cupcake and a bag of fruit snacks. Kids were super excited! My only suggestion for the adult bag would be to include a bagel and cream cheese. The hotel really did try though given the world situation. Easy checkout.
Would definitely stay here again without hestiation.

I would call the front desk. We stayed there in May. Their website even then still said a hot breakfast, but all they gave us was a "courtesy snack bag" that was dessert, not breakfast. Don't trust their website. I would call them.
Yes, the Super 8 Hershey Hotel is smoke free and no pets. Has a fridge and microwave. Beds are very firm....no box springs....Didn’t bother us though we slept well. Very clean hotel.
There are more places to choose from in the Hershey area.
