Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
This is a converted hotel that was an old one run by Best Western I believe. They did a great job. Everything we saw was brand new. Flooring to fixtures. Even the hairdryer was new. It is a lower end hotel so the breakfast is only bagels, orange juice and yogurt but tea and coffee are always available. The staff is their best asset. The desk people are very friendly. We were on the top floor (you enter on the second floor) and it was very quiet. Bed was comfortable. They even provide a nightlight which was helpful. Overall I just take a star off because I would look for more with the breakfast. Another juice option and maybe a waffle or something. I hadn’t noticed but they do state in the description that it is just a bagel breakfast. If you like a light breakfast provided with your room go for their Hampton Inns instead. We will be staying here again. It is a great value for the area. Small nosh for breakfast just leaves more room for snacks at Hershey Park!

I gave three stars based on ammenities and parking.
The hotel is a budget hotel (basically a 3 star hotel). It was clean and the reception staff was very accommodating and nice. Construction is ongoing with the hotel so parking is limited.
Quick drive to many attractions in the area. The location of the hotel was perfect.
We door dashed breakfast from Panera.
I would stay here again.

Stayed here on the way back to NY and wanted to visit Hershey again. We actually stayed here last July when it was Best Western Inn at Chocolate Avenue and the staff were so nice and welcoming we decided to use our Hilton points up.
Room was lovely and clean. Good amount of parking. Be careful to close your door properly behind you as they don't close by themselves. Counted over a dozen open doors on the to way breakfast.
Breakfast was very disappointing compared to last year when it was hot and cold food with a such good choice. This year was just literally bagels, yoghurt pots and muffins. That was it. Not a fruit loop in sight! or a bit of fruit, even a solitary croissant would have gone down a treat. Never been more underwhelmed in the whole of my entire life.
Did not use the pool this time round, just seemed not very clean and a funky aroma coming from the green out of use kids pool hot tub thing.

Booked adjoining rooms here because my family and friends were heading to Hersheypark for the weekend and this hotel is conveniently only like 6 mins away! Who knew, this hotel was brand new so it is super clean and very nice inside! Breakfast is included, however it is only bagels and beverages. The beds are comfortable. The only 2 negatives are: that there is NO elevator however, in my photo it looks as is they will be building one in this empty area in the future and that the bathroom is extremely tiny that the sink is outside, also don’t expect a tub if you have a toddler that you need to bathe because there is none! You maybe need to request a handicap bathroom to get a tub.

My understanding is this is a remodeled Best Western, and Spark is a newer and lower Hilton brand. Our overall stay was OK, but I don't think I'll be doing Spark again. Yes, rooms are freshly painted, carpet seems updated. But they have kinds to work out. There are no digital check-in/keys like other Hilton properties even though the app has it. Pool outside seems OK, but hot tub is out of order. Gym is pretty plain, but they have room to improve it. Finally, breakfast is bagels/muffins, that's it. They desperately need more toasters or faster toasters to everyone can toast their bagel! It's low end, and hotels in Hershey seem expensive. Maybe just know what you're getting into and it may be OK. No elevator. Know that off the lobby 2nd floor is right there, you walk to it. 1st floor around the back has motel type doors to the outside.

I spent two nights and really enjoyed my stay. Everything has been newly renovated with a brand new feel. There were a few teething issues with the door key cards however the staff went out of their way to help. The pool was great too, a nice break from the heat and humidity. Id stay again without any hesitation.

I booked this hotel on Feb 8, 2024 through Best Western. On 7/23/24 I received an email from Spark by Hilton saying my reservation was cancelled, without any explanation. I called the Hotel and they blame Best Western for sending them a bad database. I'm skeptical of this. Something this important should have transitioned correctly. I can only write a negative review.

This location just opened. It’s a new economy line by Hilton and it did not disappoint. The hotel is older but everything has been redone. It’s clean and bright. Lot of families going to Hersheypark. This was a great option. My only issue was the lack of outlets since it’s an older hotel. We’ll stay here again.

Do not book this hotel! We stayed from July 31-August second.. our original stay was until August 3rd.
We originally booked the hotel when it was the Best Western.. the pool was beautiful in the pictures!
Several people complained about the pool on July 31st. The receptionists were unaware that the pool was money green! I made them go outside and right away they called the owner and manager to close down the pool because of the algae bloom in the pool. At 9pm the manager threw shock in the pool. In addition to this the original room we were in our tub didn’t drain. We had to stick a razor in it to drain and a guest walked into our room because the adjoining door wasn’t locked, The receptionist were amazing to move us to an upper floor with no adjoining door.
August 1st still money green! August2nd we called corporate to inform them that the manager threw shock in the pool and it was still green. They called the manager and he told them that the pool was fixed! When it clearly wasn’t. The manager proceeded to deactivate our room keys leaving my son and nephew in the room alone while we were about to come in the hotel and couldn’t. Someone let us in. Then the kids let us in the room. I we t to my vehicle and once again couldn’t get I the hotel, I had to climb through bushes to knock on the windows to the room we were in. My sister said wait a minute I want to try the keys. Thst is when we realized he deactivated the keys. My sister went to him and he said I kicked you out of the hotel… he was on the phone with customer with some one and my sister yelled The pool is money green! However the hacuzzi is soarkling clean!
This manager did not care about the health, safety and well- being of the guests! He hung the phone up on Corporate and booking.com
