Hershey camping has always been a good expierence for my family and I. Ignore what others have to say about the train, my tip is bring ear plugs! The pool is crystal clear, the shuttle bus is on time, and the staff is super nice. During night time security is always driving around. If you ever see a young man...

Had a group camping trip with friends and lots of kids. Stayed at multiple tent sites with electric and water. One of our families left and drove home at 3:00 in the morning due to the train. The rest of our group all left Saturday evening even though we paid through Sunday. The freight train is ridiculous. It runs all...

Thank you for sharing your experience at Hersheypark Camping Resort. I apologize that the active freight railroad bordering the campground disrupted your stay. As the Sweetest Place on Earth, we strive to provide all our guests with an enjoyable experience. If you choose to stay in the future, please consider sites in our Lazy River Rest area. I will be...

We stayed in 163 RV site. Pretty far from the train ( thanks for the tip Trip advisor). The sites are tight! Almost awning to awning. Luckily we are not here to hangout at the site. Wifi at the campsite was awful but the cable was good. The pool was nice but not open very long, only 10 to 6....

We tent camped here for 2 nights in site 241. The site is about as far from the train tacks as you can get, so that wasn't a problem, nor was RV noise, although earplugs wouldn't be a bad idea. The site was close to a potable water source; however it was a walk across the parking lot to the...

On a Sunday night you can get a lot of the great rides in. You also get in an hour earlier then general...

This campground is big and busy but we had great time here. Train is a bit loud but not keeping us away in future. Shuttle is great to Hershey Park and always running from 8am till 10pm. It seams very quiet at night even with all the sites

I stayed here in June for the scout camp-o-ree. We were placed in a field about 50 yards away from the tracks. I had read the information on the website about the "Active railroad" but I was not prepared for just how active those tracks are. The trains trains rain every 30-45 minutes, sometimes blowing the horn, ALL DAY and...

We are happy you were able to join us for the Camp-O-Ree scout event. We enjoy hosting the Girl Scouts for these fun-filled weekends. As you mentioned, the Camping Resort does border an active freight railroad. Unfortunately, we do not have control over the frequency of the trains or when their whistles are sounded. Understandably, tent campers seem more effected...

Stayed here second time and very satisfied. We stayed at site 61 and good amount of space on top of hill. We can hear the train but the space is worth it. Very friendly staff. Very clean and wifi works good. The shuttle runs on time all day till 10 pm to Hershey.

We are frequent dwellers of campgrounds in our 24 foot Rockwood Roo hybrid travel trailer. This campground has many great features and a few that may be a game changer for you so here they are. Pros: Shuttle to park is fantastic, it is on time, clean and new buses with ice cold AC, kind drivers and a organized process....

Make no mistake this is a fabulous campground. It is well managed, well kept, has great amenities and has an all around good feel to it. Access to Hershey theme park is excellent with frequent busses and the early pass. The tengo internet is as spotty as any campground we have visited but we're not really there to surf. The...
