2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen with sitting area that was divine. Morning buffet breakfast was adequate and high quality. Eggs on request. Coffee made to order. The sustainable swimming pool looked gorgeous but cool temps tempered our desire to swim.Wine selection on hand is very, very good. Can order day trips, olive picking, or home cooked meals in your... My family, along with 3 other families, stayed at Il Paluffo for a week in September. We had the most wonderful week. The Villa has been restored with amazing attention to detail whilst maintaining the amazing history of the building. Liana is a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble and, even... More

Doporučujeme všem, prožili jsme tam 3 nádherné dny, krásná atmosféra, úžasné snídaně, dokonalé výhledy a velmi přátelský a ochotný personál. Nebyli jsme tam naposledy We spent three days in a wonderful ambience of the B&B of Il Paluffo. Very quiet and cosy room, a splendid view on autumn coloured vineyard, professional and very helpful staff, rich breakfasts. We also very... More

We stayed for one night in the Forno House at Il Paluffo, but could have easily stayed a week or more! Tucked out of the way in the hillsides around Certaldo, the building is the perfect mix of rustic with modern conveniences as well as eco-friendly technologies. Upon entering and checking in you're led through a 15th Century Olive mill into... More

Excellent B&B with a romantic medieval setting. The views from the rooms and grounds are spectacular. Modern conveniences within the building originally constructed in the 16th century. The breakfast (somewhat pricey) area is located within an old wine storage cellar. Located not far from excellent restaurants and the medieval town of Certaldo.

Rustic and secluded, but with a great location. Easy to get to a ton of surrounding farms and wineries, and they even give you a free iPad to use with a sim card so you can navigate without using data. Fantastic spot overall.

Beautiful setting which made for a great stay in the Tuscan countryside. Lots of great extras including pasta making classes, honesty bar and bio pool. Stunning views and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They are happy to make restaurant reservations for you. Would recommend!

Our family of 5 enjoyed an incredible 5 nights at Il Paluffo. We loved the relaxed atmosphere, quality of the apartment, and friendly staff. We took advantage of the pasta making lesson with Patricia on our first night and highly recommend doing this activity. You can't beat the location in relation to getting around to other places in Tuscany, including... More

We had an absolutely fantastic stay and felt at home at Il Paluffo. Staff did a great job at making our stay comfortable and relaxed. They provided great suggestions and advice on places to eat and things to see and do. We were able to use a complimentary IPad which was very useful for our driving trips. Il Paluffo is... More

The Il Plauffo is a lovely place with a medieval charme outside, and the perfect mixture between the medieval charme and luxury on the inside. When we arrived, the owner first gave us a warm welcome and then gave us a free house tour where we learned about Il Paluffo's history as a olive oil farm. Then, we got a... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This historic building has been restored, conserving its original structure and design. Paluffo features four independent apartments, each of them with a private garden – Torre, Stillo, Forno and Frantoio -, and the owner’s house, with four rooms available for B&B. The housing estate includes the historical mill, completed with a millstone and a press for the pressing of olives, a fermentation room used in the past for the production of wine, a wine cellar dug in the tufa rock, a bread oven and two wells. The fermentation room and the wine cellar are now at the disposal of guests as common spaces, and can be used for meetings and courses.. A laundry area is also available to guests.
