Thanks for the positive review, we are happy our attention-to-detail is appreciated and noticed. Just like to point out that we are veggie, not vegan, so dairy, cheese and eggs are definitely allowed, but not, as you say, fish or meat. Best wishes, Dave :-)

A lovely, friendly secure place to stay. There's lots of interesting stories on the walls and in the decor so even if you're eating on your own you can be entertained. Great help and local knowledge from the guys too.
Really enjoyed staying here from Friday to Wednesday. Comfy bed, decent shower, good breakfast and great to have open access to the Lobby and kettle as well as a shared fridge downstairs to put my supplies in.
Diddnt mind the challenging hill at the end...More
Went on my first walking weekend and we were based at the hostel. Room was comfortable with en suite shower and loo. Breakfast was vegetarian and cooked by Dave. He was really helpful and food was good. He also provided a varied packed lunch.
