We used a voucher for this overnight stay and were delighted with it. The room was large with quality mattress and bedding. In the evening we dined in their brasserie and enjoyed a lovely three course meal. I did miss the coffee afterwards but the quality of the food was very good. Breakfast the following morning was again, high standard...

A week-end away with a group to enjoy a function and dinner but also to enjoy the surrounding landscape. 15 minutes walk to the famous Cow and Calf. and 10 minutes from Ilkley, so ideal position. This hotel has history and for me much nicer than more modern hotels. Quirky layout on the ground floor. Whilst attending a function we...

After reading the reviews I was bit concerned. This was completely unfounded as the food was excellent and the service. I sometimes find with afternoon tea it is bit top heavy with cakes and not enough sandwiches but this was not the case here.Lovely sandwiches and home made cakes. I will certainly be returning and will recommend it to friends.

I stayed here with my sister for our works Christmas do and I have no complaints about the room, cleanliness or food but I did think it was expensive. When we checked in there was no info given to us about the hotel or any kind of friendly welcome. We had to basically ask about everything, we didn't know which...

Not even able to stay at the hotel. Bought a buyagift voucher for a two night hotel stay with dinner for when my partner and I are at a wedding in the area and apparently even though rooms are available, they had reached their maximum voucher allocation. Why have vouchers available if people can't stay when it is most convenient,...

Stayed on 3rd Jan using a Groupon voucher. Reception was friendly and we stayed in room 147 which was a basic room not much of a view but clean. We walked down to the town 5 minutes down hill, and browsed the shops. when we returned to the room we discovered the heating had gone off, The reception said the...

Stayed her for the weekend on the 3rd and 4th Jan using a voucher from Buy a gift. We had a very warm friendly greeting from the reception staff who gave us directions to our room, which upon entering was a spacious well decorated, clean and tidy room. We ate in the hotel both nights, the first night sampling their...
