Have frequented this restaurant in the past and have been very happy. Sadly this time was a real let down. We arrived at 7.30, were shown to a small cramped table squeezed in an over crowded dining room. We were left waiting for half an hour before any stops to us. Luckily we had bought drinks from the bar. Eventually...

I'd like to thank the manager and all his staff for a fantastic meal yesterday. They accommodated for my dietary needs superbly to produce a first class meal exactly how I'd asked for it. Even my Dad raved about his and he doesn't do that very often. .....and as for the choice of desserts, think my mum would have eaten...

Quaint country pub, enthusiastic and friendly staff, the beer braised beef and minted lamb shank is highly recommended. A little more expensive than a standard pub chain but well worth it. A reasonable selection of ales to choose from.

we have visited the bolingbroke four times recently and they have never dissapointed us, the food is always fresh and piping hot when it arrives at the table, the staff are attentive but not overbearing. The bolingbroke also serves a good pint of real ale. The deserts are also very good with ample sized portions. keep it up guys well...

Food is really good, but unfortunately the place is let down by poor service. We waited about twenty minutes before menus where delivered to table. Also table was not cleared away promptly after main courses. Shame as food was really good but need to address staff problems.

Arriving on spec to a full pub we were offered a table within ten minutes of waiting. Superb service, well kept local ales and sumptuous food followed. A more than ample serving of Beef with a mega Yorkshire pud, excellent roasties and five other veg and lashings of gravy were super. My partner had an excellent sized piece of salmon,...

According to my App "Been" I've traveled 15% of this organic rock but only two reviews on here? Let's start the ball rolling. I arrived at the Bolingbroke on a Sunday during their closed period (they split their day into two) to be greeted by one of the owners a crazy Welsh lady who was a genuine straight up person...

We visited with friends for Sunday lunch and had fortunately booked a table, otherwise think it could have been difficult to get a table at 1pm when we dined. We sat at a table in the main bar area which has a really nice atmosphere, but there is a separate large dining room if you prefer. We all ordered the...

8 of us went to celebrate a 50th birthday. We turned up @ 1930 but didn't have our orders taken until 2000hrs. We only had a main course each & it took an hour to come. One person had ordered a burger but returned it because it was burnt, they didn't have any more so she had to order something else!...
