We stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago. From when you drive through the hotel the service begins. We were greeted at the door with a smooth check in an der bags whisked away, lovely as you can relax straight away! We had a lovely time in the spa, I had a treatment with Sophie who was outstanding. We...

Wonderful place to stay. Yes it's expensive, but you get what you pay for. If you want a special treat, this is the place to go. We were well looked after and the room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Food was excellent.

I stayed at Whatley Manor last weekend and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The level of service from the moment I pulled up to departure was first rate. Holly, the duty manager, greeted me, I was then given a full tour of the hotel before settling into the lounge for a sumptuous afternoon tea. After a quick trip to the...

Stayed here on 9-11 Feb for a wedding at nearby Great Tythe Barn, Teburyabout 15 mins away by taxi. Access can be confusing but is through large brown panelled doubles gates operated by a sensor as the vehicle approaches them. Reception was smooth and efficient. Our room, number 4, on ground floor was beautifully decorated and an exceptionally large, comfortable...

I was recommended to this hotel by a work colleague who was taken there by her boyfriend when they got engaged. My wife and I (although considerably older) were absolutely delighted with the hotel, the spa and particularly the fine dining. We arrived having had snow flurries on the motorway, and wondered why we were bothering to go away in...

We visited Whatley on the first weekend in February as a post-Christmas treat. This is our fourth time & certainly did not disappoint in any way.We had a wonderful welcome from no less than three members of staff including the charming young man who remembered us from our previous visits,& took our luggage & parked our car. Our deluxe room was...

Well done to all the Whatley Manor team, a brilliant experience. We stayed for one night as part of a birthday weekend and it was truly wonderful. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and spent a couple of hours in the spa which although quite small has a great range of pool areas, thermal rooms etc etc. It's very well arranged,...

This was our first stay at Whatley Manor, and we're really pleased that we had picked it. The house, rooms and gardens are maintained to the highest standards, the meals were excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised by the extensiveness of the spa and the cosy, spacious public rooms. Oh, and the staff honestly couldn't have done any more to...

We were so lucky to spend another day and night at this really unique retreat. We spent our afternoon relaxing in the lounge and then a very pleasant evening firstly in the cinema and then in The Mazot for dinner, the food was delicious. As always the staff were very attentive and welcoming, and friendly, nothing was too much trouble....

Thank you for your very kind review, so pleased you made the most your visit to us and that you were well looked after by the team. It really, really grieves me to say that on this occasion, our 2 night stay at Whatley Manor was slightly disappointing. We've been staying at Whatley twice a year for several years now on the 2 night dining experience package. We have always before given top marks for everything. It was always faultless, however this time we are left wondering...
