I phoned The Welch Gate Guest House on Friday evening and booked myself a room for the following night. Arrived about 2pm and met Linda one of the owners, instantly felt at home, was shown up to my amazing room. I was off out for a wedding, but when I came back late that night- the bed was to die...

Staff were very friendly. Food was ok. Theyd run out of cheese which was why i wouldnt give them 5* .With two vegetarians this seriously limited the food options. Being a few doors down from a co-op id have thought they would have just nipped out to get some. Nice friendly tea room atmosphere though.

Called in for a quick lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were very helpful. There was a good menu selection in relation to the size of the establishment. The food was of an excellent quality and all at a reasonable cost. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Place looked inviting from the outside, so the four of us went in and found a table. Friends ordered a prawn baguette and cheese baguette, my daughter ordered a cheese omelette and chips, and I ordered a veggie breakfast, switching the eggs for hash browns. Didnt have to wait long..... daughter tucked into hers and said how lovely it was,...

Wonderful place to stay, with lovely, engaging landlords (great food!) and the perfect location from which to explore bucolic Bewdley. Room was exceptionally clean and tidy. Overall excellent value, and worth finding an excuse to visit again, which I certainly will.

My girlfriend and I stayed recently for 1 night. The basic requirements for overnight stays like this are that the bedroom and bathroom are clean, that the bed is comfortable and that there is an absence of disturbance to spoil your rest. The Welch Gate met these requirements with ease. Beyond these basic requirements are nice to haves, and here,...

My wife & I stayed here Saturday (I night) and found the town interesting. The guest house was easy to locate but as strangers we weren’t sure where to park. There are a couple of options nearby; ‘municipal’ and private. Having checked out the apparently cheaper option, the default of potential ‘overstaying’ led us to choose the ‘municipal’ one. Fairly...

Nice and pleasant B&B, we stayed for 1 night. The room was very big, with a sofa, armchair and fireplace. The bed was very comfortable. Facilities in the room included tea/coffee making facilities (including biscuits), fridge with milk, and small complimentary toiletries. I would recommend to have a couple of bottles of water in the fridge. There is a flat...

Stayed one night. The room large and clean, with a massive comfortable bed. Very quiet as the room is at the rear of the property. Staff were very friendly. I would have given a higher rating , but I have had better breakfasts. If you serve cheap sausages I will all ways mark you down! Having said that I would...
