A special occasion spoilt by being rushed through the meal.We asked to have a break between our first course and the main......it was then served in 3 mins.We could not eat our main and left within 40 mins of arriving.Ordered champagne and did not have enough time to finish our drink. Apologies given but it ruined our day. Have spent...

We booked this 'deal' via secret escapes for a one night stop but would have been happy to stay longer. It is set well back off the main Kidderminster-Bromsgrove road, a recently restored/remodelled set of buildings in a Manoir style set in 70 acres of idyllic countryside with lake, dovecote and plenty of grazing sheep during our stay in April....

I met with two customers here for a business lunch. The service was excellent, as was the food. This is a top class hotel in a lovely location, set well back from any main road. We all only had two courses which was plenty for lunchtime, especially as you get some 'freebies' compliments of the chef. My soup and plaice...

We stayed on the night on 21/4/17 in room 6, which is described as a superior room. The large bedroom room was tastefully decorated with a well equipped bathroom. Absolutely no complaints in this respect. However we noticed when we intially entered the room that it was rather hot but thought that if we opened the bedroom windows it would...

Just returned from an overnight stay. Hotel, grounds and rooms lovely. Today's breakfast was first class. All staff professional and unobtrusive. Regrettably there is a big problem with the heating in the rooms, all were like saunas, particularly the ones above the kitchen. Spoke to staff regarding this, but no reaction. Last nights dinner was very professional and loved by...

Short stay on business. Arrived to the sight of roaring fires in the lobby which seemed a popular area with guests. Room was well appointed of a good size, very comfortable bed and large well decorated bathroom with full size bath. Nespresso in room was welcome as was the small fridge with fresh milk and an excellent local rubbarb squash...

My husband and I stayed one night at Brockencote Hall to meet up with relatives in the area, who we had invited for HIgh Tea at the Hotel. The property and location were excellent - just what we were looking for - quintessential "Englishness". We had a well appointed room where every detail had been considered, including fresh milk for...

My husband and I stayed for one night at Brockencote Hall in March 2017. We had a Superior Double Room on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel overlooking fields and sheep. The room was light, spacious and traditionally furnished with plenty of storage and a safe inside the wardrobe. There were hand made chocolates awaiting us and...

Stayed a couple of nights recently, everything was comfortable and everyone was pleasant but the place did not have a "wow" factor, it was all a bit bland. The room was very good and the food in the restaurant was alright (see separate review) but there were mistakes and the busy lounge area where a lot of people seemed to...

Was lucky enough to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary here with friends(whom are regular visitors). We had a very enjoyable meal(good Friday menu). The food was excellent, although the portions may look small to some visitors, it was very filling by the time you had finished all the course. We had 5 courses and wine and coffee. We had an...
