We were there for their Sunday night deal and it was a joy to get away from home after weeks of lock-down. A very grand but welcoming hotel. The fabulous room was perfectly equipped. Covid precautions could not have been more thorough. Vital statistics: £165 for DBB including £50 towards dinner. Tremendous value.

What a shame that the hotel has now had to close again. It must be a worrying time but staff seemed remarkably cheerful. We had a lovely nicely done out room with a refurbished bathroom and were very comfortable. The approach to the hotel and the grounds are very pleasant and you just feel that your stay will be special.

Let's face it , 2020 has been pretty awful all round. You probably didn't get to go on your usual summer holiday and now the weather is getting cold and grey. You need a really good weekend away don't you...? We've just completed a 2 night stay at Brockencote Hall. We last visited about 4 years ago and really enjoyed it , and the quality of experience has got even better. The helpful and friendly staff really make you feel relaxed and at the same time offer excellent service in all areas. The hotel is completely Covid prepared and every care has been taken to ensure your safety. We had a a large Master bedroom overlooking the front of the hotel. Excellent amenities and spotlessly clean throughout. We had a also booked the evening meal at the hotel for both nights. The food and wine choices are excellent, and all of the kitchen and waiting staff deserve full credit for making these meals a really great experience. So, if you're looking for a top class getaway during these difficult times , I can really recommend a stay at Brockencote. Go ahead and book it , don't you deserve it..?

Called in for coffee, a mid September Sunday. Our last visit was probably 15 years ago. The approach road is through beautifully tended grounds, past the (man made) lake. Inside the, the hotel is very well looked after - as are the guests! We were greeted at the door and shown to a lounge area which we had to ourselves. Coffee and delicious biscuits were quickly delivered to the table. On departure we had a walk round the grounds and the attention to detail is obvious. We will be returning to eat in the near future!
