Travelodge Kidderminster emerges as a value option, with many guests pleased by the hotel's cost-effectiveness, despite some qualms about extra fees for amenities like Wi-Fi. The convenient location is a hit among reviewers for its easy access to local attractions and free parking, though it's less accessible on foot. Guests often commend the friendly service and the tranquil, clean rooms, although opinions on amenities, noise, and housekeeping vary. While the atmosphere generally earns praise for its cleanliness and comfort, noise disturbances sometimes mar the experience.

We came here for one night to visit the West Midlands Safari Park, we live around 3 hours away so it saved driving all day.
This hotel was excellent with loads of parking which felt safe. We were greeted by the manager who was absolutely lovely! She was friendly and gave us plenty of information and told us that herself and another person would be available if we ever had any questions or concerns.
We felt so comfortable, we saw quite a few people who worked there and every single one greeted us with a smile.
The rooms were spotless and the beds were super comfy.
We had a nice little selection of tea/coffee in our room and even had a fan.
I would highly recommend this hotel, we felt really comfortable and welcome.
Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit but there is a very pretty and quaint pub/restaurant opposite which is ideal for breakfasts and meals.
The hotel is within a couple of minutes (driving) away from all the shops and restaurants so it's in an ideal location,
Many thanks to the Travelodge staff

Stopped over in Kidderminster, on way from Glasgow area to Bristol, to see my Granddaughter start school.
Had tried on numerous occasions before travelling, to make direct contact with hotel on 0871 number but at 13p per minute and waiting times of over 30 minutes, was pointless. Got an email one day before travelling, giving me direct dial number and immediately spoke to helpful lady.

I was trying to secure twin room as travelling with adult Son and double (which was only option available on booking site at the time), was unsuitable. Lady advised that all twins had gone but would put an additional single bed in room which was great.

Turned up early on the day hoping to leave luggage, as visiting a local attraction but no facility available due to Covid. Lady on reception, possibly the manager, gave us immediate access to a twin room which she’d managed to rearrange and as was ready which saved us from worrying about luggage (contaIning some expensive tech), lying in unattended car.

All of this done with a cheery smile.

Cannot commend highly enough.

Thank you so very much.

I would recommend Kidderminster Travelodge to families and friends even if you just want a weekend away just book in and enjoy. The staff was friendly. The Watermill which is just over the road is worth a visit, the staff are friendly the foods nice always hot and value for money I would recommend the curry and the steak.

Arrived last night for a say with my dogs and other half for business. On arrival at 1030pm we met Nancy, she was so lovely & welcoming - recommended where we could get food and take the dogs. Nothing was too much trouble!

The gentleman on nightshirt and hotel manager were also so friendly, it costs nothing to be nice and the team here are so friendly it makes the trip to here worth taking.

The room & amenities: well, it’s Travelodge, they’re clean & basic.

The surrounding of the hotel are lovely, it’s nice a nice place with a pub over the carpark. The staff in the pub could do with customer service training from the Travelodge team🤣❤️

Lets start with check in.
3pm - don't you dare get there a minute early as they won't let you go in
Went to room which is basic (and very small) but fine and it was clean so can't complain at that.
Now the shower has a very tiny lip on the tray and a shower curtain so the whole bathroom flooded when I used it. With the one hand towel and one bath sheet there really isn't anything to put down to stop this happening.
Bed was poor quality as were the pillows.
This hotel backs onto the pub and a car garage so don't expect an early night or a lie in because you'll get neither.
You can also hear absolutely everything from the room above. So overall a very poor nights sleep (if you can call it that)
Check out was fine and quick. Breakfast box is a massive waste of money don't bother - a small pain au chocolat, cornflakes, milk, orange juice and a flapjack.
Although signage is out asking guests to wear face coverings no one bar me did.

This wasn’t a bad visit if I’d have paid less but given I paid £89.99 I would expect a lot more for my money. Check in and out was fine with friendly staff. Only 30 mins of free WiFi. No food options. Only one roll of toilet paper. No plugs anywhere near the bed. No air con. Bath didn’t drain. Extremely poor value for money. On the plus side, clean room and well located. As a comparison I was at a premier inn in Worcester the following night for £49 and had free WiFi, plugs next to bed, restaurant and bar option and much better and larger room.

The welcome is friendly and professional and Nancy & Karen are both very helpful if you encounter a problem. The rooms are clean and smell fresh, all the bathroom appliances are also clean and in working order especially the shower which produces hot water very quickly. The bed is comfortable and the sheets are clean. There is free parking beside the hotel with plenty of room. A highly recommended hotel.

We were let down with our choice of b&b after a 6 hour drive from Scotland so last minute we booked the Travelodge. When we arrived, Karen on the desk was so welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, she offered extra tea, coffee etc and even delivered an extra towel to the room without being asked. She was polite and helpful. The shower was good and hot and the bed was so comfortable.
It is unfortunate that there are no breakfast facilities, I like my breakfast on a plate and not in a box! 🙂

We stayed here last night 17/2/23 and it was a great stay. Mainly thanks to Nancy. We stayed here four years ago visiting family and she was just as lovely then. This time I was down for my nans funeral and when she found out she was just lovely about it and when I saw her in the morning she even took the time to ask me how the send off went. Nothing was too much trouble either. She helped my boys get their packet of skittles which got stuck and over all she was just so friendly and welcoming.

The maintenance man was great too, we had a slight issue with one sheet and it was replaced immediately and he got us an iron and ironing board, no bother either. I honestly couldn’t fault the place and when ever I am back in kiddy there is only one place we will stay and it’s here.

My mom stayed here too, unfortunately she doesn’t use the internet but her and her husband couldn’t fault the place either. Friendly staff and a clean hotel, who could ask for more?

Thanks again team!

Had a really nice stay here, the room was clean and well ventilated with the windows left open which was really reassuring from a Covid-19 perspective. Places really need to take this seriously and continue with this.
Nice to see people respecting others by wearing a mask and keep their distance from others in corridors.
Rooms facing the Watermill pub may be a little noisy until around 10pm if people are outside so be aware.
Talking of the Watermill, it's a good spot for dinner.
The Severn Valley Railway is about a 20 minute walk away and was quite nice to escape somewhere reasonably quiet for a few days. Would stay here again.
