As it was the "dead Period" between Christmas and New Year, the full menu was not available, but the choices offered in the special menu were varied and delicious. It was recommended to me by an Upton resident and I will certainly recommend it to...

Cant fault the lovely lunch I had today with friends. The staff, who were extremely busy managed to get everything out on time and always with a smile. Highly recommend for lunch and dinner. Lovely warm ambiance both in the lounge and dinning area.

Lovely drive to the Beautiful Cotswolds. We stayed for one night only having booked in advance. Were offered a nice package that included dinner, bed and breakfast. Lady that I spoke to when making the booking was warm and friendly. I was fussy about the type of room and went for one of the cottages that was outside the main...

Staying in Upton for 6 weeks from overseas I called into the White Lion Hotel on 21/07/16. We stopped by for a light lunchtime snack. Great atmosphere and the food, service and staff made this a treat. Everyone took time to make everything was right. A real pleasure and would thoroughly recommend it.

I have eaten here on several occasions, and each time, the service and food have been very good. The hotel staff are friendly. The Sunday Roasts are excellent, with little room left for any dessert, which look good, but I would not be able to do them justice, following a roast dinner.

We enjoyed our stay here, and the food in particular. The staff are charming and helpful and the food was very good, including the breakfasts, where there was a good selection of cut fresh fruit, which is what I particularly like. There is a bar menu and a restaurant menu, but you can pick and choose between them and it...
