I love to stay here because of its location, friendly staff, and good breakfast . Yes the building and rooms required updating, but the elderly owners have now retired, and you can see the facilities/rooms are being updated. Stayed Friday 17th March. Very clean and will be back.

Stayed at this hotel overnight 5/3/17. The staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed. The shower was a little dated but more than adequate.Breakfast was huge and delicious. We would have no hesitation staying here in the future , or recommending to friends and family.

I stayed here on 16/12/2016 & it has got no better than the previous year. The room I have stayed in on my last 2 visits NEEDS to be completely revamped. The shower still has a crack across the inside of the base tray, the carpet is a disgrace & needs replacing ASAP. The other items in the room TV...

Stayed here for one night . Dated accommodation but very clean , lovely friendly receptionist who couldn't do enough for us , breakfast was disappointing and we didn't feel it was worth paying the extra for very weak coffee and cheap ingredients .

1970s furniture, radiator not working, wall paper hanging of the ceiling, cold and damp. Way overpriced for the state of the room that we encountered. Booked for 2 nights but forfeited the second night as we couldn't stand another night sleeping fully clothed due to the cold.

We arrived here for an overnight stay at around 6.30 and were met by a barrage of rules and regulations about our stay. Payment now before you get the room keys. No, we couldn't have a meal because we hadn't pre booked, no you can't have a takeaway in your room, no you can't use the "restaurant" to eat. Yes,...

The manageress was a total credit to this place , she did everything from serving behind the bar to cooking breakfast and waiting on . Such a lovely person and so polite .Problem was electric tripped out upstairs and couldn't be fixed all night and...

Nice place ladies made stay very good, had a good night rest and would not expect more based on what's been charged. This place has a lot of potentials in the right hand. Would definitely come back again if in the area.
