I stayed at the trivelles Mayfair for work. The entire experience was very poor and sadly I will never stay here again. My attic room was filthy, there was dirty marks all over the walls, carpets and bathroom floor. The carpets felt almost tacky under my feet. I have to say the bed was clean but that’s all. There was huge cobwebs all over the room. The microwave inside was also dirty. They do not provide cutlery or plates so if you plan on using the microwave, bring utensils to eat with. I did ask at reception but the answer was no unfortunately. There were no coat hangers in my wardrobe, and say random sweater crumpled at the bottom, I assume lost property. Again I did ask at reception for hangers, they didn’t have any spare and the remainder were in other rooms. This is not convenient as a business guest for my work clothes that were now laid over a chair. The shower would not get hot, I left it running and it finally got warm after several minutes of running the water. The wifi password is written in reception. I’d logged on my phone with it but needed it for my laptop. Naturally, I forgot it and it isn’t signposted anywhere in the room. So I rang to reception (from my personal phone, there is no room phone or info booklet) to ask for the password. They advised me to walk downstairs for it. He expected me to walk down 3 flights of stairs for the wifi password written in front of him because it was the other side of his desk. Again, just poor service. Finally, the heat in the rooms is just unbearable and extremely uncomfortable. Fans should be made available in every room. I appreciate the effect of the pandemic on the hospitality industry, but poor service and poor cleanliness is just unacceptable. I hope that they notice where improvements can be made and provide better service for future guests.

Don't know where to start from They stolen our money through legit channel. I arrived so tired with my sick wife. I found no receptionist to let us in. No security. I am imagining if anyone come out of the hotel for smoking and they forget their key card or card doesn’t work ,you will be locked out forever until you die.I guess if it’s freezing you will be dead frozen

I booked one night into this Hotal mainly because it was near the venue for cycling sportive on the Sunday and response to reviews. Due to current regulations on traveling and sport in current virus lockdown it was very quite at the Hotal and parking . The access had both steps and ramp access. The reception was managed I had to fill in form currently showing why I was there ,and meet government guidelines on travel. I had to give my reason for travel . The receptionist was very friendly and ask if I needed teas and coffee etc so was given in individual bag all good practice. I was given a ground floor room over looking the car park so that was nice . Now the room ( see pictures) It was a comfortable room with all the basic features including kettle fridge and microwave flat screen TV double bed . I must say the bathroom was first class newly renovated fantastic shower clean and tide towels. The main room was a little tired overall , the carpet had few stains and small section of wallpaper had come away and was hanging down . The microwave needed cleaning inside and I found three pork pies in the fridge? Had good night sleep very quite

Needed somewhere to lay our heads before a funeral and the free parking here drew me in. Confirmed requirements and availability a week or so beforehand. Arrived around 2200 having driven the 200+ miles from Hampshire and the receptionist was very helpful and efficient. Covid restrictions meant the hotel was nearly empty and our ground floor room seemed suitably clean and secured. A double room with standard wall mounted tv, fridge, microwave, kettle etc looked just the ticket. The bathroom was fairly small and the heated towel rail was on full blast - unfortunately, the WC is so close to this heat source it was impossible to sit down and not brand your legs! The double bed mattress was quite thin and lumpy which, combined with the paper thin pillows, meant sleep was not as comfortable - or as easy to come by - as I had hoped. We knew there was no food so packed stuff for our own continental breakfast in bee. In hindsight maybe one of the nearby chain hotels would have been better, but their lack of inclusive parking meant I opted for the lumpy mattress and broken sleep. A wrong choice by me!

They then send an email saying you can only book in from 3pm until 11pm with NO flexibility for me.to check in just prior to my shift starting at 3pm even despite the circumstances!! Booking is now cancelled after talking to the hotel and explaining the situation and being told Tough
