This is a decent and inexpensive hotel close to Manchester. I use it once or twice a month for business and its always cheaper than the nearby chain hotels. The décor is dated and the rooms rather small but its comfortable and clean. The restaurant is overpriced for mediocre food but breakfast is included in the price. Overall good value...

I concur with previous reviews regarding the rooms. Very 1970s decor and actually a room key! But it is clean and there is a very comfortable bed. Our room (23) was a walk up and down stairs so you might need to be mobile or tell the hotel you want a room nearer reception. A very puzzling entry light that...

The Alma Lodge Hotel is a large residence that became a hotel in 1951 and has had new bedrooms and facilities added over the decades. It has a good Italian style restaurant, pleasant bar where snacks are served, and plenty of car parking. The rooms are simple, but clean, and the hotel appears to be well maintained.

For a quick overnight business trip it does the job. No frills, but clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a good menu, the food at dinner was very good and breakfast was excellent. Good value for money.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel in Nov 2015 in a twin room. The room and its ensuite bathroom were clean and comfortable. The wardrobe had no doors and there were no drawers to keep your underwear, etc in so we had to leave all of that in our suitcases. We would have liked a fridge in the...

We stayed here before a flight out of Manchester Airport. It is extremely handy for the airport and airport parking. The room, although a little dated was large, clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was good and there is ample parking.

I stayed one night while working in Stockport. My room was a single and was fine. A comfortable bed, plenty of tea+coffee making facilities, hairdryer, soap and shower gel/shampoo + a TV. The hotel is in need of an update, has old dark brown doors to all the hotel rooms, and wallpaper lining hall ways is woodchip.
