I booked a room at The Swan Inn through Booking.com in September 2015. I was due to stay on the night of 7th Sept. Around 30th/31st August I cancelled via Booking.com. I cancelled as an elderly relative was unwell and I was going to change my travel plans. To be clear, Booking.com advertise that most rooms can be cancelled free...

Just situated outside Heathrow, easy access to m25, Warm clean rooms, Julie behind the bar is lovely and nothing a problem for her, max is a character, food is good. Never a problem to book a room, always happy to see return customers

Start with the positives: the lady who greeted me and showed me to my room was charming, as was the younger lady who greeted me good morning at reception the next day. But trying to sleep whilst roasting like a turkey in a room hotter than a sauna and no way to adjust the radiator, with a pillow over my...

As someone who travels frequently for both business and pleasure, I can honestly say I have never had such an unpleasant experience at any hotel or hostel in any country I've been to. I got to the hostel later than planned as the flight I was on was delayed by 2 hours. Since the inn doesn't let guests check in...

In spite of the fact, that this place had already a lot of negative assessments in the past, I decided to try it for 3 overnight stays in the sum. Indeed, I was surprised, it was a very nice and lovely place . I agree with some previous posts, that it is not very modern there..... but is this really...

I was surprised, indeed! I had not good expectations Of this place, after reading some opinions here. Nevertheless, I found a nice B&B. It's not a luxurious inn, indeed. It's rather a very Good inn. I hired a room with private bathroom. I got a clean room, lining and bathroom. A very cozy and friendly Staff. There is a bar...

Go here before the village gets swamped by a third runway. Very pleasant, great staff, a lovely local. Handy for the airport. Taxis lay over two minutes walk away. The village shop is closeby. For the movie buffs Genevieve was partly filmed in the village.

I stayed here for one night it was terrible. I had a room which looked like it hadn't been decorated since the romans ruled the earth part woodchip part plaster. There was no en suite which is always a disaster. The carpet was stained and the bed had wheels in so not exactly stable and with no headboard it was...

I wish my other half had bothered to frequent this site and read reviews before booking! Simply put - no. Main reasons - we were not able to find any smoke detectors or fire safety measures in the room and there was very little natural light. Only redeeming factor is the friendliness and helpfulness of staff BUT nice is not...
