We stayed 3 nights in room 903 and the location was great. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was wonderful. The reserved parking was a pleasant surprise and, even though the restaurant was closed, the breakfast vouchers could be used at the jam and jelly store where we bought pastries, jams and other goodies. If we make it back to the area, it would definitely be my choice of accommodations!

Wonderful to hear from you! Thank you for giving our lodging team the opportunity to host you, and we hope to share this experience again in the future! We are sad that our Kling House Restaurant is unable to open due to a staffing shortage, but our hope is that our guests find the vouchers to be a fair and unique solution. We hope you enjoyed those baked goodies- Thank you again for your kind review!

Room was very noisy and no mention was made of that when our reservation was made. A noise cancelling machine was found in the nightstand so one would assume that the staff knew the room was noisy. Don’t get room facing the road

G8117DLdw, Thank you for the positive feedback regarding our room cleanliness and service! However, we are sad to hear that you did not get quality sleep during your recent stay. There are certain rooms located within our Inn and Kurtz House buildings that can be affected by increased road noise coming from Rt. 340, primarily during our busy seasons and/or when construction is occurring in town. When guests inquire about these specific rooms, we do our best to address the potential for noise by listing it on our website and stating their proximity to the road over the phone during the booking process. Since louder than normal road noise is tough to predict, our hope is that guests will notify our team right away so that we can address the issue and relocate rooms immediately. I'm truly sorry that we were unable to hear about your dissatisfaction during your latest visit. Please feel free to give us a call so that we can make certain your next stay is better than the last!

Although I have been to kitchen kettle village many times, and love it, I had never stayed at the rooms there. It was affordable, very clean and the room my mother (age 80) stayed in was easily accessible as it was on the ground floor, walking easily to shops and places to eat. Our room was 601 cottage room, with a porch out front w wicker chairs to watch horse and buggies go by, while relaxing. Tv in room has cable tv, wifi worked well. The floor, rugs, etc looked brand new. There was a parking space next to the building reserved for us. We got a meal voucher to use at a few restaurants. The desk clerk was extremely friendly, informative, personable, prompt, professional. We will go back, I will also bring friends and others.

Hello Pam, Thank you so much for your kind review! We are so happy that you enjoyed room 601 The cottage, and we hope you had plenty of time to relax on the front porch and watch the buggies. So many of our guests tell us that their favorite thing to do is relax on the front porch, and even when they go inside they enjoy hearing the clip clopping throughout the day. Thanks again for staying with us and we are so glad to hear that you will be back with friends- We look forward to hosting you in the future!
