The Inn at Kitchen Kettle Village is often celebrated for its clean, spacious rooms that echo the local charm, though accessibility and maintenance have been noted as concerns. While there are mixed opinions on the value, due to the rates, guests appreciate the inclusive amenities and breakfast. The central location garners praise for convenience to attractions. Service is generally warm and attentive, despite sporadic lapses, and the hotel's cleanliness consistently earns acclaim. However, some guests have called out issues with hot water availability.

My Wife and I have stayed at the Kitchen Kettle many times and each time it gets better. The Kitchen Kettle is conveniently located in Intercourse Pennsylvania, and they have many stores to choose from and great selections to choose from too. The rooms all are beautiful and decorated differently. Each and every person working at Kitchen Kettle is very professional and friendly. We met two new people that work at the Kitchen Kettle that are absolutely the nicest and helpful people. They are Jeanet and Jessica who was so helpful and professional, and we thank them for everything. If you have an opportunity to go to the Kitchen Kettle don't miss it.

Although I have been to kitchen kettle village many times, and love it, I had never stayed at the rooms there. It was affordable, very clean and the room my mother (age 80) stayed in was easily accessible as it was on the ground floor, walking easily to shops and places to eat. Our room was 601 cottage room, with a porch out front w wicker chairs to watch horse and buggies go by, while relaxing. Tv in room has cable tv, wifi worked well. The floor, rugs, etc looked brand new. There was a parking space next to the building reserved for us. We got a meal voucher to use at a few restaurants. The desk clerk was extremely friendly, informative, personable, prompt, professional. We will go back, I will also bring friends and others.

Hello Pam, Thank you so much for your kind review! We are so happy that you enjoyed room 601 The cottage, and we hope you had plenty of time to relax on the front porch and watch the buggies. So many of our guests tell us that their favorite thing to do is relax on the front porch, and even when they go inside they enjoy hearing the clip clopping throughout the day. Thanks again for staying with us and we are so glad to hear that you will be back with friends- We look forward to hosting you in the future!

Just returned home from another lovely stay in KKV! We love the 101 Strawberry Street Suite and highly recommend it. Spacious, clean, quiet, and a great location. It’s great to be able to walk to all the shops and just bring our purchases straight back to our room. The Kling House Restaurant is great for the complimentary Saturday morning breakfast (but was closed this year due to the pandemic). The café as a substitute this year was acceptable. The complimentary cookies from the bakery are always a nice treat too (the chocolate mint and double chocolate are my faves). Every year too we get coupons to several of the shops just because we are staying on site. Don’t miss the art gallery which is tucked a little bit behind the main thoroughfare: a great variety of styles from local artists - and we already own two beautiful pieces.) Give it a try - you won’t regret it!

We love the cottage room 601… We've stayed there many times we love the porch and it was very clean. Also I want to put a big thank you out there for Jess she brought us clean towels, more coffee, more water she was very pleasant and offered her services for additional supplies. We love the village and the people that work there make you feel at home. The only disappointment that we have had several times that while there in the past few years , is there is no place to eat that is good since the main restraurant has closed. The Harvest café cannot provide the menu that they have listed with a steam table and the food selections are not good… this year seems to be the worst. My mom thought she was ordering a ham and cheese sandwich and she got a ham sandwich with glazed hard pears and sprinkled goat cheese for 14.00 and threw it away… She would've liked to have had just a standard ham and cheese sandwich with lettuce tomato. But unfortunately there's a fancy menu which does not make sense (you would not sprinkle goat cheese on a sandwich) and without a Chef the menu does not make sense for a cafe for what they can provide and it's not good quality. My suggestion would be to have standard food that can be provided good and hot such as meatloaf and mashed potatoes, meatball hoagies, Cheesesteaks, pizza, a menu that a café can provide good with quality standard food. I ordered jasmine rice with shrimp and the rice was a clump of dry rice and 4 coconut dry shrimp which had watermelon mixed in it for 15.00 and I could not eat it and other people were complaining. Unfortunately the prices are way too high and food choices and quality is not good. The cheeseburgers are very small and are 14.00 with a tiny bag of chips. You no longer get a free breakfast with your stay you get a $10 voucher which unfortunately you cannot buy a breakfast and a beverage for that nor can you buy a lunch for that so for the prices that you're paying for a room you should be able to get a voucher for a free full breakfast including a beverage. When we started going there we got a metal coffee mug with a lid with free coffee for the entire stay along with a free breakfast now
you just get a 10.00 voucher for each person which does not allow for a full breakfast and beverage and this is considered a Bed and Breakfast. I believe you should get a voucher for a full breakfast and beverage. I would recommend to stay at Kettle Kitchen with the knowledge that you will have to go off the property to eat.

Thank you for your review and for your years of past stays at The Inn. The Cottage is a lovely spot on a quiet street. I'm very glad that you find the accommodations and service to be a good experience and a good value. We appreciate your return visits. I do apologize for your experience and appreciate your concerns about the Cafe. We all miss the Kling House but these last three years as you know have been a difficult juggle for the hospitality industry. We are taking it one year at a time as we try to match our menus to the people's expectations of the Village. Please know that our intentions in the entire Village are to deliver an experience our guests will want to come back to again and again. The Cafe is accommodating an enormous amount of people with varied tastes and expectations. I wish your most recent meal would have been more closely in line with your past experiences. Thank you for continuing to recommend The Inn. We will continue to work on the menu offerings and the best way to allow the Inn a way to offer some kind of food as part of our Inn guests' experience.

We have been visiting KKV since my son was 5. He is now 35. We have many fond memories of shopping and eating at the Kling House. The one given is when you check into your room you do it without worrying if it is going to still be clean and comfortable. As far as price goes, I feel the rates are comparative with the major hotels in the area. The only time we stay at one of the major hotel chains is when the Village is booked solid.

Wow! Such loyal guests. Thank you!! For the record, you son still hasn't been here as long as I have, but it's so nice to know that you remember when the Village was just coming into its own. I really appreciate your shout out to our housekeeping team. They take their work so personally and I wish they could get a chance to meet more of our guests than they do. They are the backbone of our Inn. We'll look forward to seeing you all again as soon as possible.

My sister and I checked into the Inn at Kitchen Kettle on October 21, 2022 for an overnight stay. We stayed in Cottage 602 and the room happen to be ready when we arrived which is always a plus. We really like the room and we had our own parking spot. The room had two queen beds, full bathroom, TV, refrigerator and was comfortable and very clean. It was literally in the village kind of behind the art gallery place, you take that little path and boom in the village and right back to your room. It was a great stay and we would definitely stay there again. I chose room 602 because it faced the back and wasn't facing the main road. We shopped and when our arms couldn't carry any more items walked back to the room dropped off our stuff and went back out. Great location in the village and bird in hand is about 8 -10 minutes down the road. Everyone we met there was super friendly.

P.S. All the shops were great I recommend the Roasted Rooster Coffee Company there iced coffee was delish!!!!

Thank you for reviewing your stay with us at the Inn! We are so happy to hear that your accommodations were clean and convenient. Room 602 is a guest favorite due to it's proximity to the shops and the added privacy since it's behind all of the foot traffic. The Roasted Rooster certainly does have great coffee! It is not often that you'll find Haley, one of our staff members, without a cup in hand. Thank you for staying with us and we hope to host you and your sister again when you next visit!

I booked the hotel on a whim to be nearer the Rockvale and Lancaster outlets. And I adore Kitchen Kettle Village. Too say that I was surprised is an understatement! I thought it would be dingy and dark rooms. The two bed room on the second floor was fresh and well appointed. And even had a small kitchen amenity area. The bathroom was completely modernized. a complete breakfast was included at the Kling House restaurant located in the village. However, we did have to climb up a long flight of stair to reach the room. The price was comparable to staying a major chain hotel. Will definitely be back.

Many of our guests are taking the time to try out each one. Hope to see you back soon. We love getting to know our guests who love the Village but haven't yet tried staying overnight. My sister and I had an amazing time at The Inn. The customer service was phenomenal at check-in, breakfast, and check-out. We were treated so nicely and everyone seemed so happy to converse with us. The room was not only clean and spacious, but every detail seemed to be thought of as there were detailed, laminated instructions throughout the room and random essentials one might need, such as a wine opener, noise cancelling machine, and flashlights. The breakfast was amazing. We were greeted immediately upon entering and there were several meal options. We both had the blueberry bread with peaches and it was delicious! I cannot rave enough about the costumer service. The woman at breakfast was so kind and welcoming and she definitely set the tone for a wonderful day. We are already planning another trip back!

Everything we needed was in our room, which was in 1/2 of one of the stand alone cottages in a very quiet area of the Village. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Our shaded patio, which faced the road, had a love seat and 2 chairs making for a pleasant spot to sit and have coffee while watching the numerous high-stepping horse drawn Amish buggies and wagons going past. Breakfast was included at the Harvest Cafe and included 4 possible choices which were explained to us by friendly, knowledgeable staff. The Lapp Valley Dairy Farm which is close to the village, has an ice cream shop in the KItchen Kettle Village and we happily tried 4 of their 16 flavors of delicious, homemade ice cream. It was a wonderful way to unwind and detach from the news.We would go back to our same room again.

I'm so sorry it's taken us so long to answer your question. We do have two rooms that are wheelchair accessible. One of them is located in Strawberry Street Guest Quarters Room 102. It is a ground floor room with a king sized bed and a sofa bed. This particular room also has a bathroom that is handicap accessible. The second room is in the Kurtz House. These rooms are located on the second floor of the building but there is an elevator available. This room has two queen beds and an accessible bathroom. I hope to see you on a future stay in Lancaster County. Joanne I hope you're able to come see us sometime soon. Joanne
