We stayed here one night when walking the coastal path. From the friendly greeting, lovely room with a great view, great dinner with friendly service to a lovely breakfast we couldn't fault anything. Have already recommended the Riverside to friends

We popped in here for breakfast on a visit to boscastle and what a great breakfast. The setting is really nice and the staff were great and really friendly. Breakfast come out piping hot and was a really good quality and at £6.25 was great value. Only thing I can say against it was £4 of a cup of tea...

Visited Boscastle yesterday after finding it impossible to park in Port Isaac. Boscastle was busy but not as frantic as Port Isaac. Had coffee at 11.30am and enjoyed it so much decided to come back for lunch.Although it was very busy, we didn't have to wait too long for our meal which was lovely. We sat out on the river bank...

I have just returned from a fantastic short break to Boscastle staying at this hotel. The room had a lovely view, very clean, tea/ coffee making facilities were available. The hotel has a beautiful outside area at the back where it is lovely to have a drink or eat. The staff at the hotel were fantastic. When I arrived I...

The Riverside is a great venue to eat, especially outside with the river running past. The meals were fantastic, the haddock, crab and lobster burger was amazing and the fish and chips was perfectly cooked. Staff very friendly too on entering and when ordering. 5 stars all around

Landed here by accident but what a gem. Staff are so helpful, family room is pleasant and spacious with a great view of the river or TV for the little ones. Restaurant was mid price but food excellent, fresh and different- hoorah no chips! Lovely riverside terrace for drinks or Boscastle centre literally on our doorstep.

Stayed here for one night. The room was lovely but not very clean. If you are expecting a five star hotel it's not like any other I've seen. If you expect a very quaint Cornish hotel in an amazing locating you can't go wrong. The staff were very friendly but we were amazed that there are no public areas. The...

We went for a meal around 6.00 pm and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were the most friendly I have seen for a while, nothing too much trouble. Reasonable prices, quick service and food cooked to perfection. We have been here before a couple of years ago and will definitely return again and it was just as good as...

During our stay in Boscastle last july we visited The Riverside on 2 occasions. Each time the welcoming was very warm and cordial. The food was excellent certainly the bisque. Tough the collection of wine may seem rather small the 2 wines we drank were very tastefull and suited the dishes quite well..

Went for a late lunch, sat outside at the back. You can eat and drink and watch the ducks on the river. Great wee location and reasonably priced too. Was recommended by to us by a local and glad that we listened. Perfect place for a cold cider on a warm day.
