Very nice week spent with Tessa (artist, teacher) and Peter (excellent chef) at their guest house. Very well thought out week with interesting field trips, artist's studio and lovely food. Great place to meet like minded people.

Great house, friendly couple, good breakfast, gave us lift too restaurant. We were 7 cyclists and we were looked after, fed well and taxied, could not ask for more. Perfect stop off for cyclists especially doing Lands End to John O Groats.

This is a small guest house in the centre of Callington. The owners, Peter and Tessa, made us feel very welcome and the rooms were large and comfortable. The breakfasts in the morning were made to a very high standard. Our king sized bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The only downside is that there is no parking...

This is my second stay here. Peter and Tessa made me feel very welcome. The rooms are comfortable and the food exceptional. If staying, I would advise having an evening meal - you will be in for a treat! Enjoy your stay.

Took part in a 5 day art course with full board. Excellent patient tuition, excellent food. Dined "en famille". Tess and Peter are great hosts, rooms excellent. I don't think anyone could fail to enjoy themselves here.

4th stay at Lower House. Gets better (if possible) every time. Lovely comfortable rooms, great location, superb hosts cannot do enough for you. Watch the waistline! Generous quantities of everything. And an excellent pub nearby!

I forgot to write this place up from last year. B&B is always hit and miss but this place hits! Well placed in the centre of town the house has a wonderful feel about it. The room I had was warm and welcoming but little did I know about the great art studio and the best breakfast in Kernow !!

Tessa is an excellent teacher and her art course is thoroughly worthwhile: I learnt a lot. The level of hospitality is exceptional: to be welcomed into this home is a real treat and Peter's cooking is memorable! I especially recommend the bacon sandwiches. Thank you so much.
