Have just returned from a wonderful mini break staying at "Lofty" Drym Farm. The accommodation and decor were superb, and our host Jan was welcoming and informative. The location of Drym Farm was an excellent base to explore SW Cornwall. With so many lovely coves and villages to visit, we ended each day exhausted but relieved to return to such...

Oh we really did have a unique stay! First night ruined by such a bad smell from the boiler. Fixed promptly the following day. Which we now have the bill for!!!!!, The property is advertised as having soft fluffy towels, but there we none on arrival! Returned home and have been accused of taking them with us!!!!!! Very disappointing! Oh...

My husband and I stayed at Drym Farm for a week in June, and absolutely adored it! Jan, the owner, was so friendly and welcoming, and was very accommodating when we got stuck in traffic and arrived much later than expected. We stayed in the annexe to the house, which is like a small cottage- totally gorgeous! It was spotlessly...

For our 3 nights stay at Drym Farm, Jan was a wonderful host in providing a warm & friendly atmosphere in a clean & comfortable farm B&B. The accomodation is set amongst gardens, trees, & birdlife. Jan's personal assistance & guidance for sightseeing, roads, & local dining out was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended for fellow travelers.

Jill, our 'host' goes the 'extra mile' in her beautiful bed and breakfast. We visited for 2 nights with American friends. Jill's welcome was extremely welcoming and offered us tea on arrival. It was lovely to have a 'guest lounge'. The accommodation is very traditional and comfortable. I was surprised to read the guest review that their booking was not...

Thanks for the lovely review - and for being such appreciative guests. It was a pleasure to have you here - and I hope the muesli recipe has worked out well for you! (Just one small thing which has confused other regular guests ...my name is Jan, and not Jill .....)

Jan (the perfect host!) has created the perfect B&B - tranquil, elegant and welcoming. My husband and I brought my father to Drym Farm for a mini-reunion, and we couldn't have asked for a better setting. Because the B&B only has two rooms, we had it all to ourselves and it was a real home from home. The handsome old...

We stayed there one night. The room was clean and comfortable. The surroundings were also very tidy and well kept. If you're looking for a peaceful setting then this a good choice.

Having researched lots and read the reviews here, we booked, we paid, we arrived.....and they said our cheque had not cleared, we were not expected, and we had not told them exactly what time we were arriving so they had assumed we were not coming. So we went elsewhere.......So very upset about the reception we received, especially so as I...

Hmmmmm...not really what happened .....all our guests are asked to pay a deposit to secure their booking. This lady delayed sending a deposit cheque for some 6 weeks because she said she could not remember our name, website or address etc.. and then the cheque sent was not cleared by the bank ...

We loved this charming, tasteful and classy gem of a B&B, tucked away in the Cornwall countryside. Jan was an extremely gracious hostess and very accommodating to our 3 year old. She never intruded and yet was always there to give helpful advice and tips, truly helping us to make the most of our short time in Cornwall.

Of the scores of B&B's where I've been in many parts of the world, this is one of the best, and the innkeeper, Jan Bright, is by far the most helpful and congenial owner I've encountered anywhere. My wife and I spent three nights here with our daughter, her husband, and their 3-year-old. It was a delightful time. Every morning...
