This is a modest hotel, rooms decorated nicely, bed was slight too hard for my liking but that's a preference issue. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Nice bar area and restaurant though we didn't have dinner. Breakfast was fine, food served nice and hot and plenty of choice. All in all a good hotel.

Service was excellent, staff really, really nice. I had a four poster bed that was in a large room with shower room off. Four poster bed was comfortable. Only down side to some might be access, which is down a very steep hill, okay in a car and would be very difficult if you have mobility issues, although once down...

I say little, it was deceptive and like a tardis!! Wonderful grounds and views across the valley, with lots of seating inside and outside! And an absolute bonus for us is that they are dog friendly! The hotel has been renovated to a high and sympathetic standard! It felt cosy and I could quite easily spend an afternoon relaxing here!...

We saw the Liscawn Hotel sign & drove into the grounds it looked lovely. They were very busy & we said we hadn't booked. The man said they were closing in 10 minutes & could only allow those with bookings. We explained we were rather hungry to which he replied that if we could order in the next 10 minutes...

A beautiful Hotel, tucked nicely out of the way| Stunning picturesque views | Nothing was ever a problem with the staff, whether it was questions about where to go or a complex breakfast to please everyone at your table | Beds made every day - if desired | small children's play area, with a wonderful seating area all around the...

We stayed two nights over a weekend and found the hotel to be excellent. The decoration is a tasteful twist of modern and character. Staff worked hard and were very happy to help and sorted out problems quickly and without complaint. Our room in the main building was very clean and had large towels too. The breakfast was good (cereal,...

I phoned the Liscawn in quite a panic as we were attending a wedding in the area and for one reason or another found ourselves with nowhere to stay. The staff were brilliant! They were all very nice and organised us a taxi into Torpoint for the festivities. We couldn't fault the hotel or the service. Our room had a...

Popped in here for an evening meal after a day in Cornwall. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who quickly served us with our drinks. Asking for a table we were invited to choose any that weren't reserved. Attentive waitress and excellent food made this a pleasant end to our day. After finishing our meal we sat in...

We stayed here for two nights/three days in early August 2016. The hotel is set in a quiet location off the beaten track. The service from start to finish of our stay was excellent. So was the food ... the dinner menu does not give away what you receive on your plate! Full of flavour and presented in style with...

Set in a quiet location off the beaten track, this hotel looks lovely from the outside! We stayed in a triple room and were a bit disappointed that the single bed was a camp bed. We also ate in the restaurant downstairs which was nice. Breakfast let this place down as service was very slow, we had no glasses for...
