If you're looking for good value this is it! Great pub with rooms, private parking, nice pub grub and all overlooking Mawgan Porth dog friendly beach....lovely full English breakfast included - plenty of hot water - no negatives at all 😍.

Beef and horseradish & cheese and chutney sandwiches with shared cheesy chips plus coffee today. Certainly will not need much for supper now. Excellent food and service and the landlord had time to socialise too.

Having booked a table we were put to somewhere towards the back of the pub as their was a party booked taking the tables at the front. We had to change a drink, a glass of white wine which was not chilled. The food in fairness was good for the price we paid. And no complaints their good generous portions....

Great pub with great choice of food. I had a special of crispy squid , it was delicious. Reasonably priced. Newly refurbished. I love the fact that I can take my dog! Cosy and friendly. Very near to the beach.

Came here whilst visiting sister and brother in law. Lovely atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Had roast beef with all the trimmings. Beef was the tenderest I have had and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend. Many thanks

We stayed in village for weekend and Popped in for afternoon drinks, felt very welcomed. Pub cosy and has good range of drinks- even had cake so I was very happy! Huge outdoor terrace for warmer weather and overlooks stunning beach.

We usually just drink here after a good day out exploring but also ate here for our anniversary this time. Specials on the board are changed regularly and there is also a menu ( not...

My wife and I stayed here for one night, Great place to stay, Very pleasant helpful staff. The room was lovely and a great hot tub bath (very nice touch). The tea/coffee facilities in the room excellent with added bonus of hot chocolate and cookies. I like these little touches. Don't cost a lot but so adds to the experience....

My husband, four children and I ate here this afternoon. We all had the carvery... The meat was VERY good... Gammon tasty and tender, and the beef tender and juicy. I must admit that the quality of the veg on a carvery is a deal breaker for me, and The Merrymoor nailed it! The cauliflower cheese was the not the...
