First visit: staff seem a little moody and abrupt. But food was good and prices were fair for the type of food we got. Second visit: just nipped in for a quick drink and some cheesy chips. This wasn't a fun experience. Took over an hour to get one portion of cheesy chips and during this hour a waiter came...

Excellent accommodation overlooking beautiful beach, superb breakfast and food throughout the day. Additional bonus of upper terrace with sun loungers and comfortable seating, so you can sunbathe and have a nice chilled glass of something and still appreciate the fabulous view. Plenty of well trained staff, where your every need is catered for with a genuine smile. Excellent family run...

The view across the small bay from the long and thin beer garden are nice if a bit tarnished by the road noise but otherwise it's nice. The real ale selection was good and well kept, the menu had a good selection of food for all types, I plumped for the Merrymoor Inn Ploughmans which was delivered on a wooden...

Spent 3 nights there again this time with our grandson. The family room had a fabulous sea view. The staff put an extra bed in the room and the staff made a great fuss of our grandson. Lovely clean room which was cleaned every day. Kettle in room with tea coffee and hot chocolate with LOVELY biscuits. The pub has...

We were warmly welcomed by the landlord, Nick. Live music on Saturday night and Sunday carvery and he makes an excellent Cosmopolitan too! The pub was spacious and vibrant with locals and holiday makers, smiles all round. Great find for anyone visiting the area or just passing through.

We've been going to Mawgan Porth for 12 years now, and the Merrymoor Inn is a place we always go to for a pint and food, since last year Nick the owner has made some pleasing changes. The inside of the pub has been refurbished and is brilliant, there is a more relaxed feeling to the place now and the...

I've eaten here quite a few times now. Each time has been very consistent: friendly welcoming service, piping hot food, generous portions and very reasonably priced. What more could you want! Sea views, indoor and outside eating available. Dog and child friendly. If you haven't tried it what are you waiting for. Can't wait till I'm living here and I...

Great location to watch the world go by either in the garden area or inside out of the heat last Monday when it was 28C outside. Cold cider and wine to while away one hour. Parking available out front or in paid area out the back. No parking charges after about 4 pm each day.

We have just returned from five days at this wonderful inn. It is exactly what it says it is, welcoming, by the beach, family run, comfortable and excellent value for money. We had a double room with sea view (and what a gorgeous view of the bay!) and ate there every evening. The room was lovely, ensuite, good sized bathroom,...
