This accomadation was booked for me during a recent work activity and I was not disappointed. A very comfortable place to stay with excellent food and very polite staff. The room was very spacious and comfortable with all the tea making facilities and a good strength internet connection. I would definitely stay again.

Booked last minute as we need to visit parents nearby. Staff are lovely & very helpful Room comfortable & clean. We had an evening meal & although it was typical pub food it was excellently cooked & presented well Didn't stay for breakfast but I am sure it would be excellent Will definitely stay again

We stayed with friends. Their room was very noisy as it was above the bad. Ours was quiet. Room was very basic but had was very comfy. The shower only had a trickle of water so we didn't use it. There was no hot water in the room. Breakfast was good. The room serves it's purpose but I wouldn't recommend...

I booked a single room as I was staying on business. The room was excellent, large double bed LCD TV that accepted USB sticks (most don't). Large separate bathroom. Had the special Pie & Pint for dinner which was excellent, because of this I decided to book a second night. The service was great, nothing was too much trouble and...

If I had based my decision on where to stay whilst working in the area on the preceding review I would not have stayed here. Which would have been a mistake as I had a great few days staying here. This is true, vibrant village pub and, should you want it, the banter and the ‘crack’ in the main bar...

On arriving at the hotel we noticed the car park resembled a scrap yard - Oh dear! We went to the reception and no booking reference to hand, we did not get the room we had booked. The good points:- good pub, good staff and looked like a nice 17th century carpet in our bedroom. The bad points:- shower door...

We chose this Hotel just because it allows dogs but what an excellent choice. A beautiful family run country pub with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and a great bar with several casks beers to try. I had a full English breakfast every morning which was really tasty. Because we were visiting relatives in Liskeard we only had 1 evening meal...

If the rating went on staff, I would have given 5 stars! The two girls Sherry and Olivia (I hope I'm right there), were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for them. And I speak for our whole family (plus another family I met) when I say, they actually made our stay the best it could have been. The hotel...
